2 ★Bought Swann door bell two days back. It has intermittent issues with connectivity and alerting. I suspect the Swann network and its route back to my network (WiFi) has some issues, either it cannot cater to the bandwidth or is too slow. My own broadband connection is pretty good though. Anyone else having these issues and any comments from Swann support? Thanks
1 ★Absolute garbage. STILL waiting for the verification setup email. Swann 'support' USELESS; tried to blame the phone for their server not sending the email. I have pressed resend hundreds of times over 4 days. Ive tried2 different Android phones and an ipad and 3 different email accounts (both gmail and outlook) NOTHING WORKS The doorbell is useless without an account. I Ive been using Swann products for10 years now and they have all failed me at crucial times. No More! Im returning this.
1 ★Others including myself, cannot set up an account with Swann Buzz. Evidently all usernames and email addresses have been taken or already used. My husband finally got somewhere but they never sent a confirmation email to setup his account. l tried the online chat service and sent an email to the company and got nowhere. No response. Update As of 2.17.2019, app still won't work. Cannot create a user name nor receive email to set up a new account. NEVER worked! We are returning the product! fixNow
2 ★I was able to connect the phone to the doorbell and view the live footage but the app will not send notifications by email or to my phone. the main reason I got the device was for security purposes and to alert me when I'm away from home I'm not able to watch my phone all day.
1 ★AVOID, SAVE YOUR CASH. I'm experiencing the same issues as other users; You can Not save the video content that was triggered (i.e states Download error") and it's too slow to capture the event anyway. These issues defeat the purpose of owning swannbuzz I have waited months and months for a new bug release. I will not be making any more business with Swann Pty Ltd.
1 ★Really poor product. usually I get the doorbell notification after the person has left. and when u do get it on time the video is too slow to load on phone. Doorbell is 2m from modem with fibre broadband. might work ok if you had a tablet dedicated to the doorbell only with app always on display. I have admire the review replies from Swan, but vast majority of ratings are 1 & 2 star so the product is just poor. Why did I not read reviews before buying :(
1 ★Not compatible with Android 10. Main issue seems to be that when my phone was pushed to Android 10, the app was not communicating with the camera device. I had to completely start from scratch in terms of uninstalling the app and repair with swannbuzz device. After a few attempts of this process, the setup finally worked, but had no issues with the app or device prior to Android 10 push.
1 ★Takes forever to load, does not send notifications anymore and now guess what??it won't even connect to my wifi ..the sad reality is I install these things and other products for a living..
1 ★Got it has a Christmas gift. Tried many to charge the unit and then keeps disconnecting and not pairing. Each and every time charged had issues. Customer service/ tech support no help. Iam ready to return the all unit system.
1 ★The app doesn't work. I got a notification about motion (actually nothing) is outside again while I was unable to get to my settings - with a no device set up message! I can absolutely not use this as intended. The picture quality is good but the app needs to be updated asap!
4 ★Have been using this doorbell for 1 week already and so far it's working great. I get notifications almost instantly and have already asked the postman to leave a box at my door. I first came across this Swann doorbell as i was searching for battery powered doorbells that didn't have monthly cloud fees. The app has all the basics covered but is not super slick so I deduct 1 star for that.
1 ★purchased the video doorbell kit but was unable to create an account kept telling me my email was already registered. Tried different emails and same issue. Informed by tech support that this was a known issue. It has been over a month now and I have given up and returning the product that I have not been able to install due to the poor quality of this app. Not happy with Swann at all poor support. I tried again today 15/2 and still unable to create account same bloody issue
