2 ★good camera and concept but poor execution via unreliable app. app used to be good and you could see live stream without any issues but not anymore. I have one or two cameras giving good live view and others not. all on the same network. if you have multiple cameras then the notification set for one camera applies to all. this should be customisable based on individual camera but it isn't. very few settings are customisable per individual camera.
5 ★great camera . Very easy to install. The only thing i would ask for is to be able to chose alarm sounds when camera detect movement. At the moment there is only one very short sound ( it won't wake me up during the night when something is going on ) . Netatmo team please ad more choice of alarm sounds. thanks.
1 ★Appalling customer service and the feature to refine detection not working mean that this cannot be recommended. There is no telephone support and emails go unanswered, with follow up emails and formal complaints simply ignored. There is a feature to refine detection, but despite my telling it countless times that a small windmill is not a person it still detects it as a person. Really disappointing for such an expensive system, and clearly Netatmo can't be bothered to help its customers or fix the issues with their system.
1 ★The app menu's don't work in portrait mode, which is a major flaw for a home security/ home automation app, so the app is basically unusable on a wall mounted tablet.
3 ★Started off with a presence camera then added 2 indoor cameras, since then I have had the original plus 2 other replacement outdoor cameras fail, seems to be an issue with the memory cards and the IP rating as water is getting into them, hopefully you will upgrade the external camera very soon as at the moment it is not fit for purpose, also unable to turn the flood light on manually from app anymore, I'm an Electrician who knows how to install these.
5 ★Feature rich and great picture, love how it connects to the electrics and wifi rather than PoE or battery. No subscription needed either, with your own FTP server support, or if you do want cloud storage dropbox is supported. Nest could learn a thing or two, I hate subscription services when there is no need. Fully support this product!
3 ★I like that you can now set the playback resolution, but I can't find a way of it defaulting to 1080p, I have to manually set it each time? Also I'm a little concerned since they changed their App logo, the fact it just says security (no mention of netatmo) makes me think they're going to be taken over or are going under? :-/
4 ★I would give this camera a five star if it weren't for the price of them. I had issues with SD cards but have finally gotten it fixed. I just wish these cameras weren't 200 usd or over. I love the online interface and the app. The person detection sometimes throws animals and objects into it. But I have all motion throwing notifications. I wish I could afford many more.
1 ★This app is too basic and the little it does, it doesn't do very well at all. You can specify a detection zone but you cannot adjust the sensitivity and the zone must be of a certain minimum size so not ideal for covering smaller areas. Also, the number of false positive notifications produced are ridiculous. It also notifies me every time a person or animal walks past a car and is seen on the reflection of the car or if a car goes past with their headlights on.
4 ★I wanted to give a less good star rating, but seeing that you do answer customer questions/concerns I leave it for now with 4 stars to show my goodwill. On Samsung Galaxy S10 and Samsung Note 9 the location service is not being used to determine whether someone is home although that option is activated. I will absolutely change this review if you give me a tip that leads to this functionality working or if you update the app for that to work. Other than that solid, have the cam 1 day now.
4 ★Le système fonctionne assez bien mais il faudrait une solution pour facilement signaler/changer l'état de l'alarme. (par exemple des raccourcis ou widgets pour changer entre "à la maison/parti" et la possibilité de changer le niveau d'alarme en fonction de l'heure. Ex: alarme si visage inconnu la nuit uniquement pour éviter les déclenchements non souhaités.) Il me semble que la détection via position ne fonctionne pas vraiment. Donc encore des améliorations possible via l'appli. Eng: The system works relatively well, but it misses an option to quickly switch between alarm configuration. (eg some shortcut or widget to change state between "home/away" and a possibility to define alarm security action depending on schedule. eg: only alarm in case of unknown face at night to avoid false alarms during the day) There also seems to be an issue with the geolocation, it never seems to detect it properly. So they are still some improvements to be done in the app.
5 ★Really easy to use, and love the fact that you don't need a specific subscription to store the recordings. There's an SD card and you can also use a Dropbox account or ftp server. Set up was quick and easy, although fine tuning the settings took a bit longer.
