5 ★Good DIY Security System. App seems to works well. Never had any issues.

5 ★This app was working great but now I can't open it anymore 😕 and I pay for it? What's happened

1 ★Doorbell is the worst. Slow or just doesn't load. Not loud enough. Doesn't actually connect to the hub, so you can't make any other devices sound when the doorbell is pressed. Delayed response (15-20sec, if it works) between when button is pressed and indoor chime sounds. App and account have stopped recognizing my husband's phone location, despite deleting the app and deleting the phone from the account and starting from square one. Save yourself the hassle.

5 ★EDIT: Clearing the cache and data for the app fixes the crashing problem. Annoying to have to do that, but it is functional now. Original review (1 star): App won't even open, it crashes at launch 100% of the time.

4 ★I really love the alarm system and everything that it offers. The automation is top notch. It can even turn off the main waterline to your house in case of a pipe burst. However, the app needs to be optimized. It runs a little clunky speed wise. Feature-wise it is great. It just needs to be faster.

4 ★Widget has been unresponsive since December2024 android update. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app (also cleared cache and storage) but the problem persists rendering the widget useless. I typically use this widget daily so this is extremely inconvenient.

1 ★How to pair keypad. Instructions say use device settings but when i look for device settings,,it is not there! Useless

1 ★I've had more problems with Abode products and service and app than I could ever list. Ive had the full security system and paid service for 6 years now, and there's always some kind of problem. Abode never works all the time. Unlike my Nest cameras which have never in five years had a single problem. Tech support is the worst ...making you try various tech solutions yourself instead of Abode fixing your problem. What good is having a home security system during the times it doesn't work?

2 ★None of our family is happy with Abode. It has set away during the afternoon when all three of us were home and not even near the door. Sometimes it doesn't even try to lock the door (auto-lock command isn't even in the detailed log). So now we don't trust it to do its job. Fairly often it doesn't unlock it, or waits to do so after we have our keys out ready to unlock manually. We regret going w Abode

1 ★Basically featureless unless you pony up for recurring subscription costs. Not what I bought or was looking for.
