How to install SwannView Pro APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download SwannView Pro APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.SwannViewPro-v3.0-ApkClean.apk)

Q: What is an APK File?

3 ★I had the Note 4 and my wife had the S4 and now the S5 and the app worked great on all devices. Never an issue. I upgraded to the Note 5, window says it is playing, but the screen is black. Downloaded the non "pro" version of the app, it works fine on my Note 5. I like the pro version of the app better. Please fix.
5 ★The reason I bought a to look on my phone it doesn't work all the time actually less of half time. But it is cool when it does work I can watch my dogs and see who's at home..the problem was fixed now it works perfectly it is kind of fun thanks to the people on the phone so I'm putting 5 stars now
3 ★After trying and trying again, I finally got it to work. Then I left my house and it stopped working. I got home and it worked again. After adjusting my WiFi settings I realized, it does not work via 3g. Only WiFi. Which sucks, as viewing it via my cell phone while I am away was my main reason for buying.
1 ★I've tried all the Swann apps, non of them save the settings, they'll work the first time, then when I go back to the app, no settings are saved. Very frustrating, the home DVR camera system is good, this app should be an embarrassment to them.
5 ★Clean and not too bad to look at especially compared to some of the other clunky remote dvr apps I've seen. To me it's user friendly and easy to set up assuming you have the DVR configured correctly. Being able to record straight to the phone at times is a really nice too.

I bought the Samsung note 4 and returned because this app only SEEMED to work on WiFi but once I followed Stones expertise must say it works with every phone I've tried since including the note 4 I went back and got for a second time. No problem whatsoever now. Thanks Randy I really do appreciate it...and to everyone else remember to get the ip address for you computer and put it in the app where it asks for the address...
1 ★So far we are very disappointed. Sometimes this app works and sometimes it doesn't. Highly frustrating because what the point of spending all the money on the cameras if the app is a bust. Waste of money.
2 ★Updated: The negative reviews about the app not working outside their local WiFi are unfounded. It requires a bit of setup but for folks that read the instructions, it does work. My issue is with the app's auto play function. After disabling and re-enabling the auto play function, it appears to be working but it took many attempts to get it to "stick". The iPhone version of this app does NOT have this issue. It works flawlessly. Android users get shafted. Emailed support but they never returned my email.
3 ★Three stars cause the users guide sucks and needs a lot of work. Took me several hours to set it up to work over the internet via Galaxy S3 but I finally figured it out. For those of you having problems with, Message: "User or Password Error" seems like there is a bug in the software. On the DVR side use the admin account with a six digit only password then configure the Droid app settings using the admin account you just changed. This seem to work for me, for now, it's been a couple of days now.
5 ★All of the negative reviews seem to be from those that don't have knowledge of Port forwarding. If this app only works for you on wifi, and stops when you leave the house etc, it's because you have it setup to work with LAN within your home/office network. To work out of the house/wifi, find your public IP address (Google what's my IP). Use the recommended ports (or not, careful) . Go into your modem/router settings via a browser, and get into the advanced settings. Port forward the ones you need. Viola!
1 ★After the most recent android update the app no longer shows image. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling but still no video. The app however says it is playing. I'm using an HTC one. Prior to this issue it was a good app. Now the cameras are useless if I can't access them remotely.
1 ★In other versions a push on the soft button pans the camera, but on this version continual pushing of the button is required and moves the camera only a few degrees. Started off thinking this was better but it's not! I am uninstalling as soon as I finish this review!
