How to install SwannView Plus APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download SwannView Plus APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.SwannView.plus-v3.0.0-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). 2 ★Galaxy Note 9. Cameras take AT LEAST 15 seconds to load. Sometimes they don't even load. When I hear something outside, I try to open the app but by the time it loads (IF it loads) the object is already gone. NOT GOOD for a "security" app.
2 ★Just in last 4 mos....I have to uninstall/install to get it to work. I get a message that appears to be a common theme on these reviews..."Cannot connect to the server.....etc, etc". Now, I re installed yet again with no luck. I have a open 24 hr business and MUST HAVE eyes. When I FINALLY reach support...they really dont have a clue, just read out of a book, try this, try that,... NO MORE SWANN FOR ME. Would have given a 1 star but had NO PROBLEM the first 16 mos I used it.
2 ★You would think with this many dissatisfied people, someone would come up with an update. I've used several different apps for viewing cameras and this is the worst I've seen. I don't have any trouble viewing the cameras, it's just really slow to load and there's no way to zoom in on the picture. I wouldn't use it but I've contacted Swann and this is the only app that will work with my system.
1 ★Zero stars for me. App has always been ridiculously slow. Now I can't view my cameras remotely at all for the last couple months. What's the good in having a camera system that I can't view remotely? I get questions from folks asking me about camera systems alot, and I'll be telling everyone I know to avoid the Swann brand.

3 ★I have had the same problem as others not being able to connect but I have the way to fix it. Enable the password on the system itself. Uninstall the app and reinstall and and configure and that should do it. You can then turn off the password if you want.
1 ★Cant view cameras on mobile. The app has always kinda stinked takes forever to load and is years behind the competition but it would at least work now it wont load anything unless its on wifi. So explain that to me. You charge us hundreds/thousands of dallors for a security system that you have made in china for maybe 50$ but yet you cant update an app in the past four years? Where is the customer service? Clearly not here.

1 ★Live playback doesn't always connect to the server, and when it does, it fails after a few seconds. Playback is just unusable. Come on guys, other brands are doing much better than you. Last software update was Jan 2015...3 years ago... Have you given up on this app?

I just called technical support, it's worse. you can't even talk to a live person. system tasked me to leave a message with my email address so they can send me an email with instructions. what a shame. shouldn't have by Pro-Series HD system. those who consider, please by something else, not swan, I wasted $600.
1 ★non existent support. Swann has so many different apps to split up all the negative reviews. none of the apps get any updates or improvements and hardly ever work. I can set the app up to work for a day and then without changing anything it stops working. the mobile app just stops logging into the device.
