Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★It's boring. It synchronized just fine, but the available selections are disappointing. You can only choose from about 8 "tiles" that they provide and can't add any that I actually want to use like Pandora or even texting! I can reply to a text but I can't initiate one w/o using Google assistant which I don't use. It doesn't monitor sleep... Limited faces... I'm just really disappointed that I wasted my money on this Fossil watch. It looks great but this software is very bland and basic.
3 ★Dealing with the "Not able to copy Google account issue" It was working but after one reset because of the "disconnect bug" (which still exists) it now never allows me to copy my Google account. Even after resets, clearing cache, data, removing my Google account. Everything. It's a shame Google doesn't seem to really care about wearables. Edit: Took a factory reset on my phone to get everything working and connected again. That should not be the solution. Edit2: After using it for sometime it's been much better than previous experiences. However, there still is a lot of work to be done. Hopefully, Google does significant improvements to Wear OS in 2020.
5 ★I thought the new update would allow you to view stacked text (multiple text from one person). I can still only see the most recent text with my watch and selecting the message doesn't unstack the messages so that you can view them all. That's why I only have it 4 stars. Edit 1/1/2019: After downloading the Google "Messages" app the most resent text only displaying problem no longer was an issue. It's clear that it was a Samsung "Messages" issue which is why I changed my rating.
1 ★Text message notifications are gone! Using ZTE Quartz watch with Samsung GS7 phone. Text notifications disappear as soon as they are received, gone from watch and phone. I've missed several important messages thanks to this bug! Downgrading to old version of Wear OS fixes issue, but you loose new features! Get it together, Google! One of the main points of a smart watch is to get your notifications on your wrist! Not to have them dissappear entirely from phone and watch both!
3 ★I have mixed emotions. I love the looks of the software. But that's about it. I hate that I don't have continuous heart rate and sleep tracking. I don't at all believe I'm being picky for wanting those things, because every competitor of wear os offers those things. The software is slow, stutters like no other and just does a lot of things that makes no sense. I think the Fitbit acquisition could really build on the little they have, so I hope it happens. Because I want to stay in the ecosystem.
1 ★No way to block notifications for a certain time. I use Silence Premium app on my phone to setup "do not disturb" mode at night (10pm to 8am). For the Tickwatch - it doesn't work! Any WhatsApp, or Hangout, or any other message, sent too late or too early - causes vibration on the watch and wake you up. You can only block notifications on the watch completely (one at a time!) through this app. And then, in the morning you have to turn then back on (on at a time). Or don't get messages at all.
3 ★Overall good expeience for setting up and using watches. A couple of improvements would be nice... 1) Ability to customize watch face (not just select it) within the phone app (doing on the watch can be cumbersome); 2) Faster changing between devices. I have 2 watches and its a 4 step process to change. Disconnect current, select new, connect new. Seems there could be a smoother/easier way to switch watches. Edit: -1star. Having to reset watch when switching phones is quite painful.
1 ★After the update, my watch stopped vibrating when I got notifications. I tried letting the battery run all the way down after checking all my settings and seeing they were correct. When neither of those solved the problem, I tried doing a factory reset. Now the app closes everytime I open it. I can't use the watch as a watch! I just keep getting the promts to pair my device, which I can't do. I sent a message and have not heard back. Was really liking this device/app but now its useless.
1 ★Just got a pixel 5 to replace my aging 2xl. My Fossil Sport worked fine with my 2xl. Got the updated wear app on my 5, and it freezes at about 10% when trying to connect to the watch. If I close and reopen the app, or restart my phone, the phone thinks they connected properly while the watch is still waiting for it to connect. If I restart the watch, it thinks it never connected and makes you start over, but you can't because the phone thinks they are synced. "Forget device" repeats the issues.
2 ★As a big Android fan, I was very excited to see what Google could do in a smart watch. I didn't wear a watch before this, but I thought the idea would be pretty cool. There is a convenience to it, but overall, it sucks. It feels like a beta. Updates are few and far between, everything is painfully slow, battery life is pretty bad, several basic functions (like setting reminders) don't work! Last update made it so I have to reboot the watch every day or it doesn't send any alerts! It needs work.
1 ★Constantly crashes or won't allow any of the android watches connect. The fossil smart watch is the only one that will connect. But, only for a few minutes. And it will disconnect. Nothing you do will let it reconnect. Even Uninstalling this app and starting the watch from new. Still won't connect. Been an issue for over a year now. Each update seems to make it worse and worse. And I know it's not my phone. Samsung s22 ultra is brand new. And everything Samsung connects without an issue.
2 ★Worked perfectly until the newest 2.1 update in September. Now the UI is over complicated and cluttered particularly with the new notification feed which I find awful to use compared to the way it was. I would really like to see an option to have individualized full-screen notifications back. The new 2.1 notifications are just simply too hard to read.
