3 ★Tried to test the app. Consider Mobile A and B. Google account registered with A have a recovery Mobile number which is used in B (what is the use of recovery numbe if same mobile is lost). Selected Guest Login on B. After entering pwd it gives the option to approve the login request on A or call the registered number. I clicked on call because A is supposed to be lost. I received a call for Google Verification code and go back to this App. Oops.... It left the window and asking email again!
4 ★Every time I try to sign in on my new Pixel, it says "No internet connection" when I'm clearly on wi-fi. I tried signing in with just my phone data and it continues to say the same thing.
1 ★One of the best apps by Google, is now worst. Doesn't work, doesn't detect location , always asking password, and on top of that, isn't helpful when device isn't in control of you. You need internet to know location and if thief decides to take out the sim, close the data and switch off the device, then this app by Google can't help you this killing all the importance of it. Plus of the former issues, it isn't working on my Redmi 7a and 4x. Improve or discontinue. Won't recommend this.
1 ★This app somewhat useless when it comes to a lost phone can't locate a cellphone when it's switched off, no data connection and GPS turned off worst of it all it even alerts the phone that someone is trying to locate it which that should remain anonymous because thieves immediately switch the cellphone off, reset it(bypass) therefore gain access.
2 ★Sucks! If you don't have your phone, you probably don't have your Google password becuz everyone relys on their phones to just login or go there, and that poses a huge problem when ur looking for your lost or stolen phone! There has got to be another way to go about it!
5 ★Awesome, theft spoiler! I've found it very useful plenty times. Yep, once, two years ago I dropped my phone at a bar and had it on silent without lock screen and we left. Hours later at home I realized it was missing and traced back to the nightclub in their office and they denied that it was found. I made it ring and locked with a message to them and they tried to turn it off, but in the end they gave it back.
2 ★This app needs one very big improvement that is, ability to track a phone even when it is switched off by keeping few tracking features always on like gps or even mobile data that works on reserve battery else the phone could never be found when switched off. Simply just give an option to enable disable all hardware buttons through app which could be turned on by user themselves, like prior to reaching theft prone area. Please work on the above suggestions qnd make this app great and useful.
1 ★What absolute rubbish, I have just installed the app, first time I used it to locate my handset I had to enter a code on the device, no problem, the app from my PC needs to verify and shake hands. Second time, same process, you have to enter the code on the 'lost' device before the app will locate it. Previous review made the same observation, how can I enter the code if the device is lost? If I have the device, it's not lost! I'm living in a Monty Python sketch 😡 will now delete 🤬
5 ★Very intuitive! Testing app works well on my multiple phones! Often, I lay my phone down and can't remember where. App is installed on all my phones. I tested and tracked each phone from each device; it showed the exact location, even in my hand 🙃. Wonderful app!
5 ★At first I could not understand how to use this app after reading the reviews on Google Play. But I realized you must have this app downloaded on at least 2 of your devices under your Google Account. You can also use anyone's cell phone and sign in with this downloaded app as a guest using your Google Account data. Great app. Works fine. The map will locate your phone within 10 feet anywhere in the USA. A short description on how to use this App would be appropriate in Google Play.
5 ★I rarely ever give 5 stars for many apps. But this one deserves it. I have a phone and tablet. And I just lose them consistently. Some times I leave it in the car, some times it falls down the side of the bed, or some times I just forget where I put it. This app has saved so much time. I hate it when I lose my stuff. Finally something that can find my stuff...and it actually works! Plus very user friendly.
1 ★Long ago, I can track my phone without enable ‘location’ , I hope you can make this thing like that again, because nobody will enable their ‘location’ 24 hours.... I mean IPhone can track other phone, why you can't make this thing easier, if you can make the phone playing sound, that means you can track my phone without need to enable location..
