5 ★Works smoothly and quickly. Easy to use and easy to transfer account to recently purchased replacement phone. 12/20/23 Sometimes, there are delays in Signal users receiving a text from another Signal user. Sometimes, calls initiated through Signal to a user do not ring the person being called. So, they are unaware they are being called, and the Signal caller is not aware that they were unable to ring their contact.
3 ★After updating (I guess) to UI4 on my Galaxy S21+, audio messages sent to two different IPhones, the playback speed of my audio message in their iPhones is like in 1.5 or 2X. The speed in my side is 1x. I tried the same with WhatsApp and no problems in their side. Anybody experiencing something like this? 12/30/23 for the past few days, messages take to long to deliver, and when getting a picture it takes too long to download. My internet speed is over 800 mbps. Other apps have no problems.
2 ★Recently updates do not come with the bullet points of what changed as they used to. Is this app still being adequately maintained for security?In December and there is still a silly reference to Halloween in the update message. It's not cute! Something clearly changed - either the developer in charge or just getting sloppy. I recommend and donate to Signal for it's quality and leadership in privacy, not it's stickers or trying to be like others. Please stay focused on privacy and quality.
5 ★Signal is a great App I got it to be able to talk to a loved one abroad and it was very easy to stay connected and share files. Photo's and Videos are easy to upload and the size capabilities and comprehension tops any other App that I have tried to date! Did I mention you have the ablity to edit, deleted, and make limited veiw files and text. I mean they really thought out how to make an App and the sharing capabilities are seemless for most platforms. Thanks Signal! ✔☝️🎓❤
3 ★Everything is good so far on this app. Thank you for listening! but 2 things I don't like and want fixed and gone. First, I don't like that there is a limit to editing. There are 10 edits only and everyone can see what you edited. What is the point of that? If I am editing then what's the point of the past edits to be shown since they are useless now. Second, I think there should be a bio, but give us more than 140 words. Edit: now I won't get messages at all not unless I go into the app.
5 ★Signal is an amazing app! I like it way better than what's app. You can message and call others through the app, even when in other countries. Which allows me to keep in touch with friends and family back in the states when I'm traveling abroad. It also has where you can edit your messages after you send them. So, if you misspell something, you are able to fix it. I recommend this app to all my friends and family. And a bonus is, it's not owned by meta. Love this app!
5 ★I haven't been using this app very long, but so far it's been decent, except for some reason I can not hear the notifications whenever my boyfriend or anyone else messages me unless I've already got the app open & pulled up on my phone & actually looking at it though! I've double checked & ive got all my notifications turned on & volume turned up also, it's not a issue on my(phone's settings) end though! I'm not sure if anyone else has this prob or not!? Overall I'd say it's a good app though!
4 ★Pretty good so far. Had a couple issues with it not ringing while until after hanging up while I was traveling but that might have been the limited bandwidth I was getting roaming. That said, it handled the calls on very limited bandwidth very well and the text message and picture sharing both work very well.
5 ★I enjoy using the app but sometimes the messages got to the other person on the slow side like that everything is keep between you and the other person you are talking to plus you can share photos and videos. The only thing that would be nice is to be able get the person real location.
3 ★Sometimes the connection is bad when on the calls. I wanted to have this for my main texting it doesn't seem to work maybe it is the phone I have I can't remember what it doesn't allow me to do. Other than that it's a pretty good app. The invite your friends maybe could be removed due to not everyone using signal then you have to use basic texting.
5 ★This app came through for me when my phone wouldn't send or receive SMS messages. It has a streamlined feel with all the basic features I needed, it works like a dream and I'm enjoying using the Stories feature. And, setting up with my own phone number was possible, since they had options OTHER than SMS texts for confirmation - which I found to be rare. Thanks to all the people who left positive reviews here; I'm glad i listened to you.
3 ★Many messages are not being delivered unless this app is opened or the phone is unlocked. A bar scans in notifications, saying, checking for messages, and then the messages come through. Seems that huge issue started when they removed SMS messages. All of the new updates repeatedly offer the same exact updates as the previous builds. It's not as private as folks think it is.
