Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

2 ★It's auto correction is still jumps to absurd conclusions for words with only one or two letters off (which, ironically, seem to be no problem when using Chrome for spellchecks). It is a text based app, but can't even handle 100 pages without tapping out. It beats the user over the head with annoying pop-up notifications whenever it can/can't do something (like grammar suggestions). I'm basically having to conduct a mass exodus of my work off this headache.
5 ★Okay, after checking out a few more apps, I'm bumping this to 5 stars. For those that don't know, because many seem to not in the bad reviews, you can change font, size or almost anything about the text, it's just hidden behind a really strange and ambiguous button... For some really strange reason... But considering that Microsoft requires a SUBSCRIPTION PLAN to use all the features in something that is so pointless to pay for that it should be FREE, this is a hundred times better.
1 ★It was good once upon a time, until a recent update messed with how the app responds to my phone's keyboard. The amount of lag I deal with is to the point where I cannot type coherent sentences without freezing, and the problem is not my phone. Keyboard works fine on every other app. I don't know what they did, but it doesn't work anymore. Edit 2: I am no longer able to edit any work from my phone. Huge disappointment. Use Microsoft or notes instead.
2 ★Always loved being able to open a doc on the app that I started on the computer, but lately I keep getting a box pop-up that tells me "cannot fix grammatical errors. Text is too long." Whatever that means. It's annoying & constantly pops up in the middle of my documents whether I'm proofreading or editing. It's always there, please fix that! So for now, the app is being deleted until that's fixed & I'll just have to use my computer to edit & proofread. It's rather unfortunate.
5 ★Docs is the most helpful word-processing app I have ever owned! It is very simple to use and has a huge variety of purposes you can use it for: book writing, resumes, letters, group projects, even typography if you know how to do it right. And it is a lot faster, takes up less space and is less laggy than it's competition, Word. Really recommend for your phone or handheld (and no, im not getting paid for this, Google is still pretty sketch in it's other dealings)
5 ★A writer's dream! It is useful for writing stories, because I can organize them into folders and color code them. Editing, sharing, organizing the folders is easy. The function of table of contents is useful for chapters, and the commenting is like post its. I love it because the app works on multiple devices smoothly. I especially love how (on android) to highlight text, you just hold your finger on the word, and it highlights it. This app is functional, easy, and highly recommended.
1 ★As a writer, I use Google Docs constantly. It's simple to use and the interface works fine for what I need it to do. But for the past MANY months, I've had issues with shared documents crashing, claiming it can't sync changes and making me revert, suddenly not allowing me to edit the document anymore, and the whole app simply giving up on loading certain documents. Update: my old phone was ancient. I now have a Google Pixel 7. The app still sucks. I'm removing a star just for that.
5 ★It's great. Wonderful tool to have, tons of fonts and tools to have, many ways to format things, it's wonderful. Never seen any lagging or glitching, never wanted any more from it other than rainbow as an option for the font color :) edit: actually, it would be really helpful to be able to find the most common word without having to search every single word in find and replace, and it would be great if there was an option to alphabetize it.
2 ★Pretty good but not excellent. i love how i can edit things right from my phone, but now it will not allow me to attach it to an email. It acts like it will l, but when you send the email, the doc and/or pdf is not attached. so this is actually a feature thats not working. this is a MAJOR inconvenience for someone that uses this in their business while they are on the go. Google, if you would fix this issue, your app would be great.
5 ★Great, lacks 1 anecdotal feature. I like it, you can type across multiple devices no matter where you are. It has advantages over word just as word has advantages over it. The docs app is more mobile than the word app. I definitely prefer it to word with how I use it. The problem comes when I hook a keyboard and mouse to my phone (note 9). When I click it doesnt work on somethings and the scroll wheel doesn't work when in the app. I like using my phone instead of my laptop, but might use word.
1 ★I've used this app for years to co write with a friend of mine. Its amazing and I use it daily, but the past week has been unbeadable. I can't type anything without a "synchronization error" popping up. I can't read what I'm typing as it flashes constantly above my keyboard. Nothing fixes it. This app needs fixed and updated and it's ridiculous it has gone on as long as it has.
3 ★Like others here have noted, the hitbox on the "jump to section" button on the right edge of the screen was recently changed in size. Now if you scroll through any large document with your right hand you inevitably end up hitting this section. There is a simple fix: require a long press gesture before activating to "jump to section" button. It's unlikely people are going to be able to jump to the correct section with a brief scroll or click gesture. I love this app. Please fix.
