A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Do not update Google Drive!! Only after updating, whenever you try to use clipboard on Android, Google Drive displays an error: "Drive Has Stopped Unexpectedly. Report This Issue To Help Us Determine What Went Wrong". You cant even report the error back to them!!! The only way to stop this error message from constantly popping up over & over is to restart the phone!!! Google, Fix This Error In This App Update NOW!!!
1 ★Google Drive has dropped the ball. Constantly having to force close the app because it's always failing uploads (which it never did before!!!) NO its not the network I'm using, because I've tried MULTIPLE different ones. Goodle Drive isn't the same anymore. Sadly I already paid for the year, but will definitely be switching softwares if they don't get their *ish together.
1 ★Cannot reliably upload video, whether from my gallery or from within the app. They seem to get to a certain point and then just stop. Most if the time there is no progress shown in the notification/status bar. Hitting cancel does nothing on these uploads. This is the thing that will make me switch to Dropbox.
3 ★Bug, The Drive Upload had not popped up with a permission. I was actully seeing the files myself and i tried to add them but it mentioned that it was unsuccessful due to no permissions. I find a way to reenable, screen frozed for a short time and then it stopped. And i was going back to the app and saw a glitch with a permission asking if i allow the file to grant access. i press yes. What..wow. ((January 1st, 2024)) Happy New Years Y'all.
1 ★Edit 2: 1 - 3 page PDF should be a quick upload. I had no issues downloading it from its source, only when uploading to Drive. Edit in response to Google: I tried wifi and cell data. The problem is on Googles end. This app sucks. Had 4 different phones over the past few years and it takes AN ETERNITY to upload anything to it. Heaven forbid you need to use it in a timely manner because it's the only thing capable of transferring a file wirelessly... barely uploads basic Word documents and PDFs.
3 ★This app was great for years. Scanned photos for work on my phone, no problems. This year it fails at least 2-3x each time I'm adding a file. I've tried over a dozen times & it fails in various places throughout the process. File still isn't uploaded. I closed the app, deleted it, updated it, did all the things & yet it's still not working. Not sure what changed, but it's not working now. There is not another network on my phone. It's either on the wifi or off the wifi neither one works.
1 ★It can't upload anything from mobile, and perpetually buffers forever, no matter how much you try to cancel it. It is fairly simple to use on desktop, but still runs into annoying naming errors at times, and doesn't always support various file types. In response to the advice: I have tried to upload using different networks; completely different phones/service carriers in fact! It has been a consistent issue for so long, I just email things to myself or use desktop if I need to upload to drive.
1 ★Issues with uploading and not showing current files or finished files. Edit: Sorry if my initial comment was not as clear. It can be fixed and the suggestion you gave was one of the steps I used. However, my issue is it's not an isolated event but a recurring one. To be more specific with the uploading issues; there were several times I've had uploads freeze and had to cancel/restart them. One of these being a 24 min video, so you can imagine my frustrations. 2nd edit: RECURRING
3 ★When it works it's fantastic! Everytime I have to download a video mp3 file that is sent to me in a shares folder as an editor role, I have Uninstall and re-install Google drive in order for the video to pop up in my gallery. I don't understand why this is a constant problem and wish this would be fixed. Hate to Uninstall every time for every video. I've cleared the cache data and space and still nothing. This app needs to fix this bug.
3 ★This app stopped listening to certain commands. For example, I have contacts with several numbers. I could say "Call Pete, mobile" or "Call Pete, work" and it could differentiate between them and call the correct number. Now it only calls one number of the two when connected to Drive. When not connected to Drive the phone and voice commands works correctly.
2 ★I would love to rate this higher. But three connected issues that cause quite a bit of frustration that I am generally left wanting to rip my hair out. 1. When a file fails to upload, it doesn't tell you which file. Or even give an option to try again. Have fun hunting! 2. The crux of why 1 is so bad, it happens way too often. While writing this, my phone is spamming me with synchronization errors. 3. It will just create duplicates if you try to upload all again. (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻
2 ★Great storage but I literally cannot use the scan function without my drive "unexpectedly closing". Which is ridiculous, because I have to scan my files to turn them into pdfs for my class (and I don't know what I'm going to do because it won't WORK) and this is the only way I can do it. My app and phone are both fully updated (and my phone is new) so this is a Google drive issue.
