2 ★Since the update on September 18th, the app will close itself immediately. I get an error on my phone saying the app has a bug and to update it as soon as one becomes available, but there is not one as of yet. This is my first experience with Straight Talk. Until this issue, I had had no problems, but I have only had this new phone and Straight Talk account for about one month. I really hope and update to fix the bug happens soon.
1 ★I do not like the update within the app what so ever.. I have my son's phone connected to my plan but I can no longer switch between the two, his is no longer accessible.. Also, in the menu section it no longer gives a section to pay a friends phone bill which I do for my mother often.. I think it's ridiculous to change things that work well.. If the app goes back to having the features I had and need then I will give five stars..
1 ★I have used straight talk unlimited EXCLUSIVELY for many years. 10 gigs was plenty untill 2 months ago. This month's b.s. throttling required that I pay 10 dollars for 2 more gigs. According to 611611, my "new" data is being used, but google pages still take 15 minutes to load. Literaly yesterday, my phone was fine. Now it has "unlimited" dial-up speeds circa 1986...BYE STRAIGHT TALK. YOU CAN KEEP THE TEN BUCKS.
1 ★Not sure what y'all did or updated. But the app never opens now. Doesn't recognize my user name or fingerprint login. Can't check my account or anything. Just pops up an Error message now. I've been with straight talk for almost 15 years. This is ridiculous if we can't see our accounts. Also we never get reminders anymore saying when our phone bill is due! Get it together!
1 ★I had 4 lines on my account which i pay all 4. After update all except 1 were removed and it wasn't even the main one. I had 1 line for auto renewal the other 3 were not. This app no longer gives the option to add renewal to each line separately which I hate cause I liked them all separate and can do it a different times. One of the lines also had separate payment method. Now it appears I have to use 1 payment method? I really dislike thus update. There was no issue before
1 ★Since supposed Verizon took over the app had tanked. The app now closes down on itself. When you text 611611 and add airtime, it always says the present date instead on the extra 30 days. Is anything correct anymore? This should be fixed already but somehow nope! Well you can text 611611 and refill, get more info. It did reveal the correct expiration date there. Hopefully they're working hard on getting that super duper updated version available.
2 ★Used to be good. Recent updated caused issues logging in via the app. I can log in on the website with no issues. However, the same username and password doesn't work on the app. Additionally, the recent update caused my account to be split up into two separate lines. Edit 1: I have already contacted support and have a ticket number. If this issue is as pervasive as it so seems then an update needs to be released.
5 ★The most recent update has fixed all of the problems I've had with this app prior. It no longer logs me out constantly or takes forever to let me log in. I can mavigate to the rewards panel faster. It doesn't glitch like before. I'm very happy! As for the service, the recent expience with customer service was fantastic & the new 3 line card is too! I hope they keep the better service & deals up!
1 ★The new update is a nuisance. I have been with straight talk for almost 10 years, had never had a problem till the end of July of 2023. I have called 611611 number multiple times to fix issues, just to be told I have to wait for 24hrs and call them back again. I spent a total of 3 days with customer service just to be told they could not troubleshoot my issues with the 4 line plan. I would like the old system back. If it's not broken don't fix it.
1 ★Sent an email to the developer about the invalid response error message I receive while using the app. Maybe they should revert back to an older app that works in the mean time. The developers should do a lot of testing before pushing out something they don't know if it'll work or not. A beta group for the app would be a great idea!
1 ★DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME FIND A DIFFERENT PROVIDER! Update Had st for 10 or more years. The app has been bad for a long time but with every month it gets worse and worse. The chat thing with custmer disservice is nothing mor than a sales pitch to spend more money. After they got rid of att towers and went to verizon if you can get service it's slow and unreliable. After having to spend 40 min setting the app on my wifes phone to fill her service which I could do from my phone last month.
1 ★App immediately closes when going to open. Says there is a bug. That I should update it after the developer fixes the bug. I've cleared cache nothing! I've uninstalled the app and re installed it. Nothing! How a. I supposed to access my account to add a plan to phone. This should be simple not a headache. Have had straight talk for 10+ years now and this is the biggest disappointment yet.
