1 ★I just wrote a 2 stamp message with photos and NONE OF IT WAS SENT, ALL ERASED AGAIN! It is awful,this app,and with Secures it adds confusion and delays. The only feature that doesn't seem to fail is sending money! You guys sure know how to make sending money a breeze since your taking a chunk too (and I love the outrageous fees for everything..the phone service too).I am leaving a review because you were foolish enough to ask, but real satisfaction come with my loved one staying out DOC'S HOUSE
3 ★I like using the JPay app to send emails to inmates, but it has a few bugs. For one thing, when I save a message that I am sending to draft, it does not save. Then I tried to send a message to support using the app, and when I selected my email program to use, it deleted the whole email and I had to start over.
2 ★The app is good when it works. There are several times it won't connect just spins, and when this is the only way to communicate with your loved ones in prison it put a damper on communication. also video visit are hard to access at times and are still charged for visits if either party cannot connect.
1 ★This app suxs now. I can't email my son.. I've been having this problem for the last month now. ive tried to download the app over and over all it does is spin and doesn't install I even bought a new phone thinking that might be the problem .. obviously it's not!! I can't wait until the prison switches to GTL.
1 ★Hasn't worked in months! Unable to log in. I've reinstalled the App numerous times.. The only way for me to access it is thru the internet on my phone which is annoying and very inconvenient. Plus the internet version doesn't give you the same perks as the APP. Maybe this app is just useless for non Apple users lol.. COMPLETELY USELESS.. I'd give zero stars if I could 🤷♀️
1 ★I'm using a Galaxy S20 Ultra and can't get past the loading screen in Jpay. I've tried uninstall / re‐install. Even factory reset my phone and still nothing but the loading screen. Funny part is the app works on my old cheap potato of a smart phone. All that tells me is Jpay is not keeping up with technology.
1 ★Mostly won't open. Just sits there loading as long as you let it spin. Uninstalling and reinstall does nothing to fix. Neither does deleting cache or data. This app use to be great but since the virus hit it has been total cr*pfest. Pointless notifications inside the app, new mail notifications after you have already read/responded to the messages the list is long. My suggestion is to fire the people actually developing this and hire the inmates to do it. It would most likely work better. Response to Dev: You cannot make or view videograms from the web browser (phone/tablet or computer)!
2 ★I haven't had nothing but trouble with this app! Half the time it won't even open. Then when it does it makes me start all over meaning I have to select the contacts and all of that over again! I am to the point where I just open the browser to get on JPay! Very aggravating.
3 ★This app always has problem. I can't send e mails or open them 50% of the time. 8 out of 10 times it won't load. Sad thing is, this app doesn't have be good or have good reviews cuz most of us are at the mercy of this app cuz we have our loved ones in Prison or jail. We have no other options
1 ★A 20,000 character email cost 4 stamps, that equals 5000 characters per stamp. I was just charged 2 stamps for a 2110 character message. This is absolutely arbitrary! There is no clarity on how many characters per stamp on Jpay. just a notification that pops up and says based on the length of your message it will cost blank stamps to send. Jpay should be transparent and disclose how many characters per stamp!
1 ★Just terrible, takes forever to load when you open the app, kicks you out repeatedly and unnecessarily. User interface is subpar. Takes forever for emails to get there and for me to receive them. It's like the developers just threw something together and they don't fix anything with updates.
5 ★This App is HORRIBLE right now I have been unable to use the app for over 30 days. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times hoping that it will reset but I have not been successful. I was advised from others that they are having the same issue so I know it's not my phone equipment nor my Computer nor my Tablet so for right now this App is the not great.😤
