A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★New update has ruined the user friendly experience. It is much more difficult to reach messages and move between things as well as an increase in bugs and lag to go with the lack of improvements. Edit 1/12/24 the bugs are getting worse, functionality is falling apart daily Edit 1/12/24 in reaponse to the developer reply, the issue isn't connection, the issues relate to user interface breaking to the point that buttons fail, buttons overlap, and things move around while you attempt to press.
1 ★Edit: Your guide doesn't address bugs. I'm cancelling my Nitro. Update of mobile UI is horrible, has tons of bugs: search doesn't work anymore, images & textbox randomly resize themselves (have to force close and reload app to fix); send button isn't responsive on tap sometimes then sends the same message dozens of times instantly; DM messages randomly auto-scroll to the very old ones and so on. Your support just dismisses all bug reports as being "part of update". The irony. Horrible UX.
3 ★I love it for how it's made and I love the company, but whatever update they just released screwed it up more. If you have Discord Nitro, your DMs revert back to black if you had a colored background. There are several issues with the app while switching between tabs, like screwing up the emoji list or completely ruining images, large quantities of channels vanishing until you reload the app. Sometimes the channels overlap, other times the messages themselves overlap.
1 ★Would be 5 star but the newest update makes everything so garbage. Update: there has been updates since that have not fixed any issues. The lack of notifications may be something else I'm not sure, but the UI is still terrible. If you are not going back, have an option to change the look to the old way PLEASE. It's not like this on pc. Why is mobile so annoying for no reason?!??!! ALSO I discovered a new issue of images not loading ever! And dms don't match the theme I have anymore (Chroma Glow)
1 ★Took something that was tried and true and INTUITIVE: and turned it into hot garbage with the latest UI overhaul. Swipe to reply? We don't need that in servers! Easy access to seeing the members was preferred. I realize this isn't the greatest comparison since it a horrible company; but at least Reddit still lets phone users access old.reddit for those that like that format. Maybe you should take a leaf out of their book and do the same with the app.
1 ★I had never had any issues with this application until the most recent update. Calls randomly drop(one on one and lobbies), servers don't appear, messages don't appear, and the application freezes. I'm not a fan of the UI. It's no longer simple as it takes additional steps to navigate everything. It used to mirror the pc version, and that's how it should be. The only good thing about the update is the new darker theme.
2 ★I really do try to give major app changes a try, but after a month of the new UI changes I despise it still. It's unintuitive & doesn't run as smooth as the previous versions did; as a result I find myself using the app less and the mobile web version more, since it has the older layout still. Even with the clunky effort to use mobile web it's still more enjoyable than the new app UI :( I'm sorry devs, I know you worked hard & were probably excited about it...
1 ★With the new ui update, the app runs slower and is very delayed when switching between Direct Messages and Servers. Sometimes the list of servers I am in is invisible. Why break something that works? [Update] now half of the profile pictures or media will refuse to load, instead using that stupid poop icon. Making Skype look reaallly appealing right about now.
3 ★(Edited from 5 stars to 3) It's been a month now, and I'm still not used to the new layout. At first I thought it was a thing I'd get used to but it's just so unintuitive to navigate. Settings are hard to find, the member list is hidden away, you can't type filters into the search bar anymore, and swipe to reply is annoying and I never use it. it's just confusing and it went from enjoyable to use to a frequently annoying mess. Functionality is still there, so at least messaging still works.
1 ★New UI is annoying to navigate. Swiping prompts a reply instead of opening search, and DMs and Servers aren't accessible from the same page like on desktop. Much preferred when the UI was the same as desktop. Don't monkey paw me and change the desktop UI though. Can't change the dark mode either, even though it's blue now, because it's tied to the desktop theme even though they don't match.
1 ★Let me do your QA for you, since you clearly love outsourcing it to end users. • Even when synced to device settings adjusted for 0 frames on transition animations, entering direct messages with a given user produces a 0.6 second "swoosh" animation. • Uploaded images do not preview, and appear as downloadable files. Files fail to download. • Existing images no longer open in app, and attempt to open in the device's browser (unsuccessfully). • Pinned images fail to load. Unacceptable. Fix it.
1 ★Used to love the app. It was so simple to navigate. Now it's broken and it's absolutely trash. It glitches out to where the bottom navigation UI is covered by my phone's navigation UI. The call interface is cropped where 60% of the screen is blocked by blackness. It's just been so frustrating and inconvenient to work with. It was perfect before for many years! This new "upgrade" is actually a huge downgrade and not innovative at all. If it's not broken, why fix it?
