2 ★Why can't messages be backed up for free and more than 90 days? Verizon offering me to pay $19.99 a month for this feature is insane. Why are people getting the same text from me like 3 times and same for me? Why do I have to send videos using Facebook Messenger because only some go through the Verizon app? Yall have a lot of work to do.
3 ★I like it overall with the exception that I can't copy only parts of texts, I just copy the whole thing which is annoying when I only want to, let's say, copy an address or group of numbers to paste elsewhere. Additionally, I don't care for the text bar being white when I have dark mode on my phone. With Textra, I have an entire dark theme. I think if that was changed I might switch over to Verizon messages because it syncs better with my tablet
2 ★Group text get all messed up. You send a picture to a group and responses come back in other group texts. It gets very confusing. Also it says it's sending a pic (still) and you get responses back about it above the picture you are sending. Verizon needs to update and fix their bugs!
1 ★Once again my texts are being sent out of order and I'm not receiving texts. It keeps changing my settings such as my customized ring tones for certain numbers. I'm constantly being awakened by work texts because it changed my alert from silent to default. I've tried resetting it with no improvement. Same thing happened not too long ago. This issue has not been resolved. Your response is dated in June and the same thing is happening again.
5 ★Were did the numbers of text messages go after the Verizon software upgrade the other day ? I'd like it the way it was before and not to have to open my text message all the time to look for new incoming text .. Any ideas on how to fix it ? Thank you in advance
1 ★I found a defect in the app. The defect does not allow the app to notify me when there is a new message until I actually go into the app. This is creating problems at work since I have been texted to come in early for overtime, and I did not find the message until 30 minutes before normal work hours. This makes this app a ZERO STAR RATING. Btw I am about ready to uninstall this app.
1 ★Not sure quite how but the predictive text and corrective text on this application just continue to get worse and worse. It will actually replace words that have absolutely no meaning in the English language. The predictive text used to allow you to tap on the next word you wanted to type however this option no longer exists. Overall the functionality of the application should improve with time however the opposite is absolutely true
5 ★I love this app cause I work in a food plant and I'm around a bunch of machines and I can text and receive text messages while I'm on the floor! But, when I first downloaded this app, I use to could set a different ringtone (music wise) for each contact, now I can only use the lil text tones and I don't like them! I don't know what happened to where I can't set my music for my text messages 😒! I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app 3 or 4 times and I still can't use my music for text tones
1 ★After the update that puts a record message just under your thumb, that cannot be turned off or disabled I had to edit my review. This is a horrible feature that has sent many recordings, some for over 10 minutes, to contacts in my phone!! Please put this as a feature we can decide to use, not accidentally
1 ★Unable to receive messages can send and do everything else but update and customer service doesn't do nothing. Will look for another app. When it worked it was great but latest update was not good at all. UPDATE This app doesn't do any good everytime there a update it screws it up. Everything running better not great and this last update screwed the app up can't receive any text...switching to another message app this one no good.
1 ★Used this app for several years without much issue however it started to work wonky afterthe lastupdate. Wouldn't send photos, slow to respond, etc. I do not have a memory issue so i temporarily switcy my default texting app to the one that came with the phone. I absolutely hate that app and want to switch back but message plus is not responding when I click where it says to set the app as your default. So frustrating because you cant access support if it is not your default app.
1 ★Since the latest update I am unable to receive certain group texts. Other Verizon customers on the same group message are having the same issue. Even prepaid wireless customers are not having this problem. I have tried getting help to get it fixed but nothing has worked.
