4 ★Seems to do well blocking most known spam calls. Once I've hit block, those numbers are also blocked. I concur with another review on here that I do wish this extended to texts as well, since the scammers are starting to reach out that way. Other than that, this has been a pretty good app. Edit: This has since extended to some texts which has been nice. I also wanted to add that maybe this could extend to specific contact names? As sometimes the same spammers call in from a a series of numbers.
1 ★Monumentally useless... I've had this app for over a year now and in that time it hasn't blocked a single call. I still get half a dozen or more calls a day about my cars "extended warranty" or "student loan forgiveness" I keep paying for it monthly in hopes that maybe, just maybe it's actually going to block a call. We're all looking forward to it, It's totally gonna happen, I know it is!!! We're all going to celebrate 🍾 like when we landed on the moon, it'll go down in history.
3 ★Due to high volume of calls its awesome! But who wants to hear a call come in every 3 to 5 minutes a day? Honestly all soliciting calls should automatically blocked at customers request. Now there is the National Call Registry, and remember there is a 30 day wait period after your number is registered. To all solicitors it should be stopped all calls and SMS. Can't even turn volume on . Think I go back to land line service if it continues. Ridiculous!!! Love my Verizon but not solicitors
4 ★Works great to identify "known callers". My ONLY issue is that I use my phone 75% of the time at work driving a company vehicle while plugged into the Android Auto connection. While it's connected, it will NOT show any Caller ID, and EVERY call will come through - even if they were previously set to be blocked or are in the "High Risk" category. Call Filter has no record of these calls, and zero management ability while connected to Android Auto. PLEASE FIX THIS! Thanks 😊
1 ★Does not work, it doesn't block calls. For it to work, you have to upgrade to the paid version, $2.99 monthly. I'll use Hiya, it works, it's free. I had it on my AT&T phone, it was very good. ATT call blocking app was good too. Hiya is just a lot better, I can customize it to suit my needs. Verizon can do better.
5 ★I love having this service, hearing potential spam announced I don't have to pick up my phone or walk over to my phone because I'm notified of this being a possible spam call. Now all I need is for Verizon to come up with something to report all the text messages that I get from those numbers, there's no way that I can mark them as spam or phishing. Come on Verizon, y'all need to do something with the spam text messages!
2 ★Does not stop Robocalls like it use to. Why??? I pay for this call filter so it should work alot better than it does. So please fix the app. I have it set to block all spam/ robocalls. I'm sick of them. I should not have to pay for something that does not work properly. 99% of the numbers that call me do not even have names. Please fix so it will work properly. I have caller ID also, but no names but 99% says unknown name from all over the USA.
1 ★Not working. I have and am paying for the service but when I re-downloaded the app, I get a screen saying "cannot connect with server". No way to have the app acknowledge my already paid service.
5 ★I hesitate to call this call filter/call blocker perfect but I will say very favorably that it works very, very well. A few calls slip through -- like the infamous auto warranty one -- but I think it's only because they use a different number each time they call. Plus, their caller ID sometimes impersonates other, legitimate companies. I highly recommend this app.
1 ★Doesn't work, just tries to get you to pay. This should be 100% free, not oh its free, but subscribe for more. I installed it, allowed permissions and then waited. Robo call came, but no way to report it. Went into the app and there is a "get started" button. Click that, and it just offers subscription.
1 ★I have tried this app several times since Verizon offered it hoping it would solve the constant spam calls. However, it doesnt work at all. None of the features work which is very disappointing.
5 ★Love the addition of being able to provide feedback for the calls. Just blocking them on the phone side of things, didn't seem to help much of anything, but the app could go further.
