5 ★The recent update fixed some of the browsing experience. I love shopping for food online versus going to the store. I just wish the online selection was as broad as what is in the stores. As an update, I am not a fan of the deliveries being subcontracted out to Door Dash in my area. I haven't had an issue free delivery from Door Dash. Safeway needs to take back control of what happens to groceries when the leave the store. Apologies and refunds should be for rare occasions.
3 ★This app loses connection to the Safeway network a lot. It also is not very user friendly to navigate around.
5 ★Love online shopping with safeway app, easy! I like how it stores my previous orders so I can quickly find them. Only complaint is when they are out of stock of my item but I don't find out til after order is confirmed and I can't change it. Also it'd be cool to see similar items to items that are out of stock so I could exchange them, but I want the choice once I see the item instead of team member just picking something. But thats pretty picky, so I'm happy with what I've got.
4 ★Don't like not being able to change out of stock items. I've gotten hand soap for body wash. Bagels that are not fresh. But I love the service and all the people that help.

5 ★I've been using the Safeway Delivery Service since last October, about 2-3 times per month. I moved into an upstairs apartment with 17 steps, but whose counting. I need the railing, so carrying groceries is awkward, to say the least. I've had a different driver each time, but they have all been wonderful. Thank you Safeway for facilitating this service. ❤
1 ★Beware, this is a scam app. I ordered groceries March 18,2021. I missed the deliveries so I called to have it re-deliver.Re- delivery was scheduled but no groceries showed up. Safeway deducted payment on my back acct. I called Safeway Customer Service and the lady said the money will be returned into my banck account. I was told to wait 10 days. After 10 days, no money refunded to my account. So I called again and the lady told me to wait another 10days. Up to right now (4/23) no money refunded.
4 ★This app is surprisingly well designed. Slightly less user friendly than Instacart, much better than any other grocery apps I've tried, including Amazon's. Would like better sorting abilities and more thorough product descriptions. Sometimes unclear if you're ordering 3 potatoes or 3 lbs, and it seems like the order pickers interpret it both ways. Things tend to be out of stock and you don't find out until your order shows up.
5 ★Safeway associates offer excellent service and do their best to always ensure orders are accurately filled. In my experience the store I shop at meets the need perefecrly based on regular use. AND also: as the personal shoppers get to know their customer - they meet the order by offering knowledgeable improvement as they get to learn what their regulars expect.
5 ★I only go out to go to Dr appointments and have ordered most of my supplies and food online. I live too far out for grocery deliveries. Safeway's curbside pick up has been a God send. I can get fresh fruit and vegetables and extra lean ground turkey breast and dairy items. The quality has been great. You a choose whether you will accept substitutions for items whiych is wonderful when you have particular items you want. Ordering is easy and pick up is quick.

4 ★For the most part I really like the online shopping app. I will probably keep using delivery with Safeway. The delivery cost is reasonable, punctual and most of the time acctuarte. The only complaint I have is almost every deliver I have had there are things common items out of stock.
