Download Design Space: DIY with Cricut APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.cricut.designspace-v5.67.0-ApkClean.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

1 ★The app keeps asking me to sign in. When I tried, it says something went wrong and won't let me sign in. I tried to Uninstall and then install. Same issue. Very frustrating. I pay $10 a month. I needed to make something today and can't even get into the app.
1 ★Was working working ok for awhile, even though i paid my subscription i still kept getting a 'unable to retrieve payment' popup. And then i decided to update it and now i cant even upload my own images anymore, my app closes down. Every other feature works fine but this is starting to get ridiculous.
1 ★Not reliable. Every update something new is wrong, and its extremely frustrating. Currently the app will not let me search image sets at all, or when I click "view image set" on a singular image, it will only show me that single image even though it says there are x number of images.
3 ★Not the easiest app to learn how to use, but it gets the job done... unless you recieve a phone call partway through a job, and then it pauses with no way to resume. Very frustrating, as I have wasted several sheets of material this way.
3 ★EDIT: what's the use of having a new machine (maker 3 & such) if Design space is so slow you can't even use it! I am always a positive upbeat person, but this has me upset. I'm losing money over design space not being cared about enough to be updated, we never get features we ask for. Cmon guys I wish we could have more features added, but I still love DS and my cricut. You can do amazing things with the two combined. If you are thinking about getting a cricut, just do it! You won't regret it.
1 ★As of a few days ago maybe a week nothing is working I cannot connect to my machine via phone computer or tablet. I can't open projects on my computer that have been saved on my cloud that I start on my phone. I can't save my ptojects!!!!!! I've been re-editing the same project no joke 8 times and it's not minor changes either its forty five minutes worth of of work the design space says it saves and then i close it and go back to it and it's like I never finished it.
3 ★I love everything about it except the fact I don't have the ability to access it and use its fullest potential offline because my internet isn't always the best and neither is my hotspot. On days those don't work for me I can't do anything on my cricut. Would be awesome if that could be fixed😀 it would make it a 5+ in my book.
2 ★Constantly crashes in the middle of projects completely ruining entire sheets of vinyl. Doesnt save or offer to reload the project it closes on you. Just not user friendly at all despite having years to simply listen to the customers and make changes that are actually useful.
1 ★Seems to be a common problem you down load cricut Design space in Google pay, they take the money and you still classed as been unsubscribe. Someone is benefiting from taken payments and customers not getting what they have paid for. Not happy at all.
1 ★I been on the same project all day. Nothing. I am trying to erase a image off so I can do something else an the same image keep coming up. I’m so frustrated right now. I hate I purchased this thing it’s not as easy as you’ll say it is.
2 ★I can't delete any of my projects so it is getting full, It stops in the middle of cutting because the app goes crazy on my phone, sometimes I go in and it says I have no projects at all. I messaged for help and got nothing. As expensive as the product is I would hope the app would work on my phone so I am able to use it. I rarely use my computer.
1 ★I'm tired of all the updates! With every update design space has it gets worse. I just did this last update and now I can not even upload a single picture because the app crashes. I can not make anything right now.
