1 ★The app has not worked since March 2020 when it was updated. It crashes every time I try to open it. Why don't you fix this. When something works leave it alone. I have reinstalled this numerous times with the same result. I can log-in online but can't use the app in the store. Foodlion has stopped carrying many popular items over the past year and the constant remodeling of the shelves every week. With no app and no savings or selection there isn't a choice but to go to a different grocer. The terrible experience is the #1 topic among my friends.
1 ★It's been Over a year and I have Not been able to login via the app. I enjoyed it for the longest time, but then something happened and I couldn't login. Spoke with a representative to resolve the issue, but no feedback since. I've been reduced to using the website, which lags and stalls, terribly inconvenient when I'm out shopping. Fix this issue ASAP!!
1 ★Right now, you can choose to browse without logging in, which i love. However, if you choose not to log in/sign up and you refuse to allow it to use your location (even though there is a zip code locator search option), it will keep popping up an error that overtakes your ability to basically use the app unless you consent to give it your location by turning it on and agreeing. I already only had like 2 options out of like 10 available by not logging in and blocking location. I've uninstalled.
2 ★I like apps for stores, but this isn't really worth the download. I mainly use them to see if the produce I want is in stock, and use the barcode scanner to see the prices of specific items. This app gives me neither of those. When searching an item, it simply gives me the name of the product, and what is supposed to be a picture of said product. No price, no stock list, nothing. The same goes for using the bar scanner. Updating and clearing cache is absolutely useless.
1 ★I've used this app for years and have loved it. However, like many others have said in recent reviews, it no longer opens. I have even tried to uninstall and reinstall, with no success. You would think, given the number of complaints with the same issue, that they would work on a fix as it's clearly not an isolated incident....but no resolution yet!?!?
1 ★Something is wrong with the app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still problems. Screen jumps around. If you want to add items, you have to go back in through email rather than app. You can no longer see last order on to go screen to add or let store know you're there. Also recently you often cannot find items listed in sale paper on the ordering/search page. It has become a nightmare.
2 ★I like my local Food Lion, but this app is horrible. It's handy if you don't have your physical MVP card and for the list feature. But, don't bother trying to look up any products, they won't load. If you open the flier it defaults to the list view where descriptions are cut off and so abbreviated you have no clue what the actual item is. Very difficult to navigate. They need to hire a different app designer. I often go to Harris Teeter because with their app it's easier to see what they have.
2 ★I'm not sure what has happened, but lately, its a nightmare. You have to go to the app then select Food Lion To Go, which takes you somewhere else. This is where my problem lays. It just keeps trying to open where it took me & can't. Most of the time, after 30 minutes of trying to get it to actually open, I have to close & try later, & it still no longer just opens, it spins & freaks out. Its never been so difficult to get groceries. If it doesn't get fixed soon, I'll have to shop elsewhere.
4 ★Not working anymore. At home it works fine on my wifi, but the whole point is using at the store. Won't work at all in the store, not even when I turn off wifi and switch to data only. Had to screen shot my account barcode at home! Android phones seem to be having the problem with the app, I know few iPhone users that are having no problems. And I don't have time in my busy schedule to call tech support, just find the problem and put out a patch please! Update... Now seems to be working fine
1 ★It's pointless to download an app like this if you can't use it. As one other reviewer pointed out, this app is meant to be used while in the store and if you can't get it to login while you're away from your home or office Wi-Fi then it's unusable. I tried the obvious fixes such as uninstalling, reinstalling, & restarting my phone with no success. I'm uninstalling it and will check back periodically to see if the reviews have gotten any more positive before I reinstall and try to use it again.
1 ★All the reviews are the same, the last update broke the app and all you get is some canned reply to call a number, THE APP IS BROKE! NO PHONE CALL IS GOING TO FIX THAT. Yes I have cleared the data and cache several times, restarted my phone a few times, removed and re-installed a few times with the same result, you get a white screen for a few seconds and the app crashes. Running fully updated Android 11.
1 ★Placed an order for pickup. Got a text it was ready THREE hours earlier than I scheduled. Text said click link to approve/disapprove subbed items. Click link, it opens browser instead of app, and I get a not found webpage error. Nowhere on the app is there anything re the subs, which I didnt want. I go get the pickup, and store person tells me I'll have to take the subbed items inside the store to return them! Now with cold items in the car in 104 heat! Food Lion always disappoints. Never again
