1 ★Attempted to create an account twice, only to have the app crash twice, locking both email addresses that I can use. I will change this rating when and if I get support to unlock it. Edit: I got support, useless support. Using a 3rd account, I tried to place a pickup order. They refuse to acknowledge the existence of a store very close to my home that I am 100% sure is hosting grocery pickup. They could not fix it within a reasonable amount of time.
1 ★I have been struggling with glitches on this app from day one. Now it wants to update but when I push the update button it says "Pending" and never updates. I like the coupons and the weekly ads on it WHEN it works. But now it doesn't work at all. Im about to delete it all together and just stick to shopping elsewhere that is cheaper without the need of digital coupons.
1 ★It's so glitchy. It keeps shutting down or pop up a message saying the app stopped working. Now I can't get it to open my shopping list. I've been using this app for two years and it's been glitchy the whole time. Strange because I never had this much trouble with the QFC or Kroger app and they're basically all the same. So glad I'll be moving to a place that doesn't have Fred Meyers. Edit: I uninstall and reinstall every time I use the app now. Still doesn't fix the issue.
3 ★My experience with clipping coupons was good...however, now all of a sudden I am denied access when logging in. I had logged in when I started and said to remember my login so I wouldn't have to log in every time. When I clicked the FM app yesterday, it asked me to sign in and enter the password. I did and now I am denied access for some unknown reason. I shop at Fred Meyer at least once or twice a week. We don't have a lot of options in Alaska. I would like this fixed. Please!!!!
4 ★My go to grocery shopping app! However, in recent updates the UPC scanning feature no longer works. I've verified my phone settings and the FM app settings. It was very convenient and quick - please fix this bug. I miss the store aisles location of products. Our local Fred Meyer recently went through a reset, and more than ever that feature is helpful!
2 ★It's not like the old app where I could easily navigate to various types of digital coupons. In fact, I don't even know if I've clipped a coupon because it disappears if you click on it and there is nowhere that it shows already clipped coupons. I've used many apps for grocery shopping and this is the only one that does not show clipped coupons.
4 ★Very useful but frequently buggy. And why does it prompt me for my password randomly, like when I'm not initiating a transaction? Also wish that it showed the price per unit on the product list. In this time where most of us have to watch our budgets closely, that feature would be a big help. Another grocer offers that and it's why I often shop there instead when I'm pressed for time (and can't do the calculations).
2 ★Terrible interface. Doesn't allow the transition of lists from one service (example: delivery) to another (example: pick up). Went through the process again and had to make a rewards acct only to discover that pick up was five days out! Tried to cancel the order in the app, couldn't do it. The automated phone system couldn't cancel my order either. Had to talk to a rep, which is absurd on an order that's canceled within minutes and five days out. Rep was the bright spot. Don't waste your time.
1 ★The UI and layout are a confusing mess that is a pain to navigate. Coupons are too small to see, and they don't work 90% of the time. Coupons and Cash Back constantly say, "Couldn't load. Try again later." Yet, they never seem to load later either making you miss out on a ton of savings and ruin the reason I downloaded the app. Lists are non-functional and glitchy.
2 ★Not a great experience. Things aren't necessarily "requires very high IQ to use" or anything, it's just not as simple as it should be. The main issues I have are the constantly having to change the store you're currently shopping at. It's not a major issue as I don't go to a lot of different locations regularly, but it should be as simple as asking for your location and confirming "I am at this store." Also the design could use some changing, such as buy 5 save 5 being easier to find.
3 ★Decent overall layout, but with a few issues: 1. Coupons are too hard to navigate - it would be better with an interface more like Safeway's with them visually split into categories. 2. It's got some kind of bug that keeps logging me out. 3. The automatic switch to "store mode" when in the store is incredibly annoying and takes at least two taps to get out of. Additionally, I'd say that the shopping list should be one of the main buttons rather than hiding in the menu.
1 ★It was working fine for a few months, but a few weeks ago it stopped loading lists. You can add to a list, and see the number of items increment, but lists never get past the rotating loading symbol. We've tried it on two phones, two computers, two chromebooks, two browsers, and both at home, and at Fred Meyer using their WiFi. I've contacted the company, and had tech people request more information, but since then, they haven't gotten back to me, and lists still don't work.
