1 ★No support from Facebook/Instagram. During my initial 30 day free trial, it worked just fine. After, it says I can access social media syncing with paid subscription. To me, it's worth it. So I pay, and update app. Still says Facebook and Instagram are unsupported. These two are the only platforms I use, and the only reason I paid for the app. Scam at best. They need to remove any indication that it is supported. Asked for a refund...we will se how this goes.
1 ★Doesn't work. Upgraded to S21. Useless. Requesting a refund. Paid for unlimited. They still haven't gotten back to me. Horrible customer service.
3 ★The app is great for updating photos and blocking spam calls. However, they have changed it to where you need to pay and upgrade to get the same features it use to have for free; such as, scanning social media profiles for new/updated contact photos and merging contacts. When I changed phones a month ago and downloaded the app again, it told me I could no longer sync with FB because of their updated privacy settings. At this point, I may start looking for a new app.
1 ★The app used to work perfectly prior to the new updates. Now, whenever I opt to sync contacts with my Instagram account, it synce them with my facebook account. I tried syncing them with my google account, but it again synced them with my facebook account. Please fix this bug asap. I really like this app. Even after 4 weeks, the issue has not been resolved.
1 ★stopped working and no longer supports apps to sync with. it's been broken for awhile now and I emailed the developer and got a generic response from Ashley, tech support is working hard to fix it but they have no updates as to when. subscription cancelled, and uninstalling. can I get a refund since I paid for a year already? and we're only in April?
1 ★I had problems with this app a month ago and now it once again is saying Facebook is unsupported. Exactly a month. What gives?! The only reason why I use this app is to sync my contacts with Facebook and I'm uninstalling it. I've never had a problem with this app over the years until recently and clearly something is up. Please dont send me the generic response either. Waste of time. Bye!
1 ★EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! I was told in June that in the middle of July the feature to sync Facebook friends with phone contacts would be fixed. it is now the middle of August and it is still not fixed. Recently had 2 updates in 1 week. Facebook is not even an option to sync your contacts to. tech support keeps telling me this will be corrected, but I am not seeing and result. I am currently looking for a new app that will sync my Facebook friends with my phone contacts.
1 ★Signed up for the 1-month free trial and was charged IMMEDIATELY. Wouldn't have minded as much had the app actually worked, but it didn't. At all. And after sending in a support ticket asking for a refund, the app no longer even opens properly. Sync.ME is a scam, and I'll be contacting my bank to issue a chargeback.
2 ★This app used to be fantastic. Used it for 5+ years and it functioned well. It has a nice, intuitive, and polished UI, but its downfall is the features for Facebook contact photo syncing being ripped away. This was its main selling point. The replies to others' complaints on this matter about how collecting data from Facebook is restricted seems misleading as I am now using "CoSy," an app that does what Sync.me used to without issue.
1 ★ive been trying to get a response from the developer as to getting a refund and cancel of service all within a period of my renewal., it does not work. they changed the service and I dont even think I was informed .....obviously i did not know, or realize or I would of dropped this a long time ago. I used to like the app. I now am going out of my way to promote dropping the app.
1 ★They have now completely disabled all functionality UNLESS you give access to your contacts! This was not in the original agreement. We should be able to block calls by number without allowing access to personal data like names/numbers. $20/year is PREMIUM! I understand it helps them improve the service, but we should STILL be able to block numbers!!! I'm posting this review as I have not heard back from technical support for a number of weeks. Don't buy this app if you want privacy!!!
4 ★I've raised this from a 2-star to a four-star reading not because it's working any better but the developer has actually contacted me, and I'm waiting for the response. that's better than 99% of the developers that I contact that never answer! I will definitely share their information if I'm allowed to. By the way this is not the only program that has been affected by Facebook's change in their API. a lot of programs have been affected. so don't blame the developer of this program blame Facebook.
