1 ★The app is alright. Two major gripes. If a menu item is say $15 in store, it will be like 18.99 in the app. And alot of times, when you order food, they will lump it in with another order or two and your food may end up sitting in somebody's car for 30 minutes or more before it gets to you. It's just kind of gross and disappointing especially when it's something like eggs, ice cream, sushi etc.
1 ★Used to be goto app for food delivery, now WHEN IT WORKS (every button to contact a dasher doesn't load no matter how many times you reboot app) it sends deliveries to the wrong address. I enter my address and it shows my location 2 blocks away from where I am, and even when I move the pin point location with the option to do it manually (again if this works) it still automatically moves the pin back to two blocks away from me, and I can't even contact Dasher to let them know. Ubereats it is.
1 ★Installing the app, I tried to put an order in. The app kept quoting a cost that was $20 more than what it should be. When I went to cart checkout, the prices were higher than purchasing at the restaurant, but correct. A bit later, I received a phone call from a Door Dash driver who said another driver picked up my order and it was delivered to someone else. Instead of redoing my order, Door Dash canceled the transaction. What a waste of my time! The worst service ever!!!
1 ★I used to think it was a great app, but when I was about to order 4 medium sandwiches and the total was almost $80 before the tip.... Then I tallied the same order on the company website, and it was only half!!! Plus it said I got a $0 delivery fee, haha... I just bit the bullet and drove 15 minutes myself and saved $40 bucks plus another $15 for a tip... in other words, if you have money to waste and don't mind paying 65% extra, then sure this app and it's $0 delivery fee is made for you 😉
1 ★Fees are through the roof. Doordash sent a message saying if you want your order, tip higher. You can pickup much cheaper that with this app. But the mobile based delivery industry has destroyed service from our restaurants, and eliminated the store based driver. So we are stuck with an inefficient and expensive system that shows a lot of choice, but honestly offers almost none. I almost hope local restaurants start dropping delivery, because I know they aren't getting the extra $3/plate.
4 ★I don't like how I'm forced to order from places thats further away from me! Prime example! There's a Wendy's less than a mile by me, On the app I have to order at the one that's on the other side of town! If I wanted to I could choose the pick up option and walk or drive to get it but unfortunately I don't have that option! I think WE should have that choice WHERE to order from! Not only is it further! In consideration? ..... That's a bigger tip/more money!
1 ★Normally, really good! However, when there's an issue, they are really nonchalant. Not caring that I have a family to feed after I just paid all types of different "fees." Something has changed in the customer service department. Good variety of foods, but they don't care if half your order was picked up, missing items, never delivered, or any other issues. I'm sick of having half meals for my family. Save the headache and "fees" (even with DashPass) and go pick it up.
1 ★I've never had an order arrive anywhere near the estimated time. Accross multiple states, assuming "theres no way everywhere has the same horrible service", usually the estimated time keeps getting pushed back to around 30-40 minutes after the initial proposed delivery time. Moreover, when there is an issue, customer service isnt great and ive had multiple orders stolen, missing items, or delivered to the wrong place and was given a 10% off coupon instead of my food or a new order.
1 ★DO NOT PAY FOR EXPRESS DELIVERY!!!! I'm tired of paying for Express Delivery, to have my Dasher stopping off, which seems to be dropping off/picking up another order! What's the point in having this as an option, if I'm not the focus, and they can still make other stops?! It must be to just get extra dollars because I don't see a faster delivery at all! Don't waste your money on it folks!!!!
1 ★One of the most annoying, least user friendly apps. The "Double Dash" screen slides up EVERY TIME I try to scroll a menu, the list of restaurants refreshes itself every time I close a menu (so you have to waste time scrolling aaaaaallllllllll the way back to wherever you were). The constantly increasing prices and Extended Range Fees (which apply to 3/4 of the available options) do not make me any happier. Just constant problems and way too expensive (the restaurants aren't happy either). 😮💨
3 ★Can you please remove the Double Dash tab at the bottom of the restaurant menu page, or at least make it a setting to turn off? It's way too easy to accidentally pull it up while scrolling. We've already added items from a different restaurant by accident. YAY for increased conversion to DoubleDash. BOO for it not being on purpose and slowing down our delivery time.
1 ★They don't have an option to cancel your account, and the instructions they provide are outdated. They also won't let you delete your credit card information from their system, so they can trap you into extra payments of 10 bucks a month. You'll find it's also worthless as you bill will be double what you would pay to drive and pick up food yourself. Oh yeah, their support is down as well
