1 ★The wost app ever! Its designed in a way wherein deliveroo can guve an estimated order time and never stick on to it, i don't mean 15-20 minutes delay, tgis is straight up 1.5-2 hour delays, and they have conveniently designed the app in a way wherein you cannot contact the customer care without cancelling the order with no refund. And the options that do allow reporting, it is always options to blame either the driver or the restaurant, when these guys can't find a driver to get the order
1 ★Theft. Pure and simple. I've used this app before with no issue. However, I recently made a 100 pound purchase with that never arrived. I spent hours speaking with customer service trying to get a refund or Deliveroo credit or anything. But no one even tried to help me. Apparently, the driver marked the delivery as complete even though they never even tried to make it to my house. Because of this, the management team basically told me to kick rocks. 0/0. Do not use this app!!!
1 ★2 times ordered the food and each time had to get in touch with support. Once, I made a typo in the address (flat 13 instead of 12 - I had to cancel the entire order, then call support and make sure I'm not going to get charged because I could not call restaurant and inform them about the typo nor did I could call rider - ridiculous). I couldn't even tell Deliveroo support to call restaurant to fix the typo. Second time, I ordered food, paid, and after the payment got through, I got an error.
1 ★Abhorrent service and a joke of an app, completely lagging behind most competition. Restaraunts apparently can automatically accept orders, even though they're not in fact working. This causes enormous delays and leads to lots of riders wasting their time just to arrive at a closed restaurant one by one. For some reason you can't cancel even after 3+ hours of waiting for an update on an order, which makes absolutely no sense and is totally an insult to the paying customer.
1 ★Caution to all users, once you placed an order and you need to make amendments or cancelation for a mistaken order, YOU WILL NOT GET THE CHANCE. The app doesn't give you the privilege to make amendments or cancelations even though the option for Get Help is available. The app will simply indicate that there's a problem and to contact the Customer Service. When you try to contact the Customer Service email, the listed email is a bogus one. There's no Customer Service for you to engage with.
1 ★They are scammers. They came with a wrong order, I declined the delivery and now they keep repeating themself with the same excuse "you have provided a two digit code before the delivery" I never provided any delivery code, I even gave them CCTV with audio from ring showing that the driver left with the grocery bags, you can even hear our conversation that the order is wrong and I will not accept it.
3 ★First time using a food delivery app. order came to £15.50 (only ordered that much to recieve £10 off first order) couldn't find the promotion code section to get £10 off first order promotion as it wasn't clearly visible. I thought it will pop up after i confirmed order but just completed order. I will prob just use it one more time for the £10 discount and then never again. I'll give uber eats a go.
1 ★If I could do no stars I would have, give me a promotion to take it away still accept the order and the reason for taking my promotion away as I live in flats and someone in my block of 25 people had used the address before so took my promotion off and then when I try to cancel withing 10 seconds it won't let me so got charged no help from customer service at all waste of space just go just eat 10 times better
5 ★Morrisons order came quickly. Although a couple of items I'd cancelled from the order arrived anyway, like chicken thigh fillets cos they were a little expensive. I received chicken thighs bone & feathers in, which I didn't want as I have drumsticks in the freezer and just need some chicken to dice. And spices I'd cancelled too came. I'd bought 4 smoked cheeses, as 1 is really small, and received just 1. Tesco delivery however got a much larger order spot on last week. No more Morrisons for me.
1 ★Horrible customer service. Placed my first time order on this, and the food quality from the restaurant was horrendous. Total come up to £30. Submitted a replaint with photos, and all I got back was £6 credit from Deliveroo. Shocking!. Won't be using this ever again.
1 ★Horrible app. I can't even find agents to talk to for the drivers being extremely late without having to browse heavily until I find it and that can only happen if I order something. If my orders are cancelled I'm not even informed about it at all. Horrible experience
1 ★€85 order with nothing to show for it. I contacted customer service, they kept stating that the rider arrived at my door and tried to contact me through my number and the app when no such attempt was made (no missed call or notification from the app) as well as providing photo evidence that the food was dropped at my doorstep but when I went to check, there was no food to be found. Customer service stated that since the rider "did all they could" they won't be compensating me in any way
