1 ★Edit: Still unable to see deals, and order time estimates are twice as long at checkout than in the restaurant search menu. Make sure you factor in an extra 1.50 for direct delivery. If you forget to select that option, your order may take an extra 40 minutes to arrive while the driver picks up someone else's order and drives around with your increasingly cold and stale food.
1 ★I have 2 pending refunds that never reached my bank account - waiting for more than one week. I keep getting the same response to check with my bank even when i ask for a contact number to escalate or ask for a transaction number for the refund (which i will need to talk to my bank). The support is pathetic - if this can be fixed for me, its great.
1 ★The refer a friend system is broken. I've referred multiple people recently and they all received their £10 off and I have received nothing. Customer service is useless they just send the same message each time that the wrong code was used, but I know that I used my code. It used to work a year ago but seems to have been broken in the last few months.
1 ★Every order SOMETHING is wrong. There are some restaurants I stopped ordering drinks from because they never show. There are fewer and fewer restaurants that see and acknowledge "no cheese" modifications. It's not just a preference, it's a medical condition. This is not sustainable. I regret paying for premium 100%.
3 ★Total ripoff - $8 in fees for a $15 order + tip. I'd stick to door dash. The app interface is loaded with upsells and nags that are super annoying. Plus the UI is misleading and doesnt show you the total amount charged at the end of the order. If the order is late - they do not refund their exorbitant fees, instead they give you useless marketing coupon ($5 off on $30min).
3 ★Love the convenience of the app, and I like that you can see who is delivering your food and track them. The delivery and service fees are very high. I often put food in my cart and cancel it after seeing the end total, making me use the app less often than I would if the fees weren't so high. I understand they need to cover costs but its becoming unaffordable to order off the app.
1 ★Terrible. Simply terrible. We've been waiting for over an hour for our delivery but there's no way the app will let you contact the restaurant to confirm the food is even getting made. Used to have a number. Guess customer service is no longer a priority. Hopefully I get some info before midnight on an order I put in at 10pm....
3 ★Depends on the area when it comes to online food deliveries. I'm rating 3 stars because there is alot of improvement that could be made, such as, not giving a driver more orders than he/she can handle because people recieve their meals cold and risk possible food poisoning. I will still use the app but looking forward to future improvements (assuming there will be).
3 ★Okay. Could be better. need improvements. The map of Uber driver sucks and is slow. Ends up confusing both driver and person seeking the driver. Should have options for gift cards when buying food from the app. For example I am unable to use gift cards for a restaurant because there is no option to. Not sure if this is because it's Ubereats or becusse it's not allowed from restaurants? Still love Uber Eats Drivers. App needs major improvements.
1 ★Horrible customer service. If anything goes wrong with your order or you're missing items they'll just push you to the restaurant doesn't know how to help instead of offering to do anything about it. Says the order is handled by the restaurant. Save yourself and the restaurant some money and just call them directly. At least then someone will also be able to help. Uninstalling
1 ★What used to be a great service has now been ruined. Due to the commission paid to Uber, restaurants then make up for this cost by inflating their prices well above in store/pickup prices. Then the problem is that once you order multiple items you are then paying $30+ for delivery but the cost is hidden. I think people would prefer an honest delivery fee listed (e.g. $10 or $15) then have the restaurants charge their normal price and not have to pay commission to Uber. This would be transparent.
1 ★My experience trying to use Uber has not been good at all. The app has quite a few glitches to begin with. Then I was erroneously charged for the Uber Pass despite not ever having signed up for it. I don't know how that happened, and I'm having the hardest time trying to contact Uber to resolve the issue. Terrible customer service! No phone number to call to resolve a problem, no email address, and trying to get in contact with someone through the app's help feature is a pain. They just kept leading me in circles. They say you can contact them via Twitter, but what if you don't have a Twitter account? Uber Eats should really have a main customer support number to call or an email. I was finally able to get in contact with customer support after some time and delete my account effective immediately. When asked for my rating of the service, I responded "horrible" and their response was "we are happy to hear that you are pleased with our services". That has to be a joke. Uber is not getting another dollar out of me. Really not worth the aggravation.
