1 ★Purposely doesnt let you cancel orders. We all know Postmates is on its last legs and in the process of being bought out. I tried to cancel an order 1 second after sending because i realized i made a mistake. Theres instructions on how to cancel and you actually follow the instructions to findout this garbage app doesnt let you cancel. Garbage app. Will be using UBEREATS and DOORDASH over this trash
1 ★There is nothing wrong with the app but they won't deliver your food and then they will tell you that they have no ability to issue a refund because they are only responsible for the delivery (which they didn't even do) and they don't deal with financial institutes which is a total lie, because they took the money via their app. I can not believe a company is allowed to essentially steal money from people. Stay away unless you want to be robbed.
2 ★They signed me up for a monthly charged service without explicitly telling me and was able to charge me twice without me noticing. Super slimy business practice. The people delivering food are the only reason this isn't a one star review. Uber eats is also guilty of this as they own postmates. Keep an eye on all transactions from uber.
2 ★The driver was great but my experience with the app and help from it was ridiculous. My order was messed up by the restaurant and just trying to get a refund or our missing items was a hassle. The lady I spoke to was rude and kept rushing me. I sat on the phone being constantly interrupted for over an hour just for her to tell me that my order was sent to ubereats and that I'd need to talk to them.
1 ★When the restaurant you want is available, Postmates is great. The problem we have is trying to understand why some restaurants are listed as "No Postmate Nearby", but they would have to pass that specific restaurant to deliver from one that is currently available. We would love an explanation for this issue. Update...since they were bought by Uber Eats, they reduced the number of restaurants, reduced the items you can order from each restaurant and send promo codes that won't work.
1 ★Postmates was great until it got taken over by UberEats. Total garbage now. I currently have an order that's been in delivery for two hours. Called the driver and they don't know anything about the order. Can't cancel, can't get support. So I just have to wait and hope they don't charge my account.
1 ★Ok I've had this app For over a year and a 1/2. When I 1st downloaded this app, I've had no issues with my food deliveries. Every order came out correct and I enjoyed my food. It's only been lately that since Postmates merged with Uber eats, customer service has gone downhill. To make a long story short, I had a issue with a Federico's order. It took me several emails and over 24 hours To receive a proper resolution. With That, I will be canceling my services and business with Postmates.
1 ★I was offered promotions $12 off an order but I was not able to process my order. My card kept declining I even bought uber cash to process and it still got declined. I was forced to use uber eats with no discount. I used the card that was declined on postmates app. This happened to me 2 times. I almost feel like they declined on purpose because uber eats was more expensive and it's the same company.
5 ★I actually clicked on the other delivery service, and their app wouldn't let me choose specific items. I switched to Postmates and was able to easily order everything I needed. Thanks!!!
1 ★I had a coupon for 30$ off which was applicable to my purchase and even showed up at the subtotal. After I paid the alleged subtotal, I check my bank to see 50$ charged on my account. It's been several days and I haven't heard anything from their support team... very disappointing
1 ★First order had an insane delay the driver is nowhere near myself or the restaurant an hour after ordering, so the food is 100% cold if it was even sent in properly through the app. I can't cancel as it's past the 5 minutes since I placed the order and there are 50 people in front of me to contact customer service to remedy this issue I could have walked 2 miles to the restaurant and back by the time it'll take to get my money back with still no food.
1 ★Had 2 orders cancelled AFTER they were due to arrive & not even notified! Always later than told they would be delivered by. Today, order from Wayback said 4:05 delivery. It is 4:18 and not even picked up. Delivered 4:48. Milkshake tossed and food is ice cold, of course, it was sitting for 20 minutes before even picked up. Honestly dont know I even use. Always frustrating. Often left hungry given even work orders arrive after available time to eat (despite restaurant 10 min away). Deleting app
