1 ★I had a frustrating experience with your help center. I hit send on a $9 ride. 2 drivers accepted. Both canceled after driving for a few minutes. The third guy actually showed up. Never during any of that was dynamic or surge price mentioned. It was still $9. When i got to my job it turned in $26. I was then told by help that they couldnt do anything and that i should've gotten a notification which i didnt. Its also not high demand when they cancel the ride on me. This is frustrating
2 ★Update: Still unable to correct my address on Uber app. It is sending the driver to the Management office which is far away from my location. Or, it's locking in on Safeway which is a location I often visit. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I HAVE TO TRY TO CONTACT THE DRIVER ASAP TO GIVE THE DIRECTIONS TO MY APARTMENT. IT'S NOT ALWAYS EASY. My address disappeared and I just can't fix it to my exact location. Uninstalled and installed again. No way to get help from Uber. Very disappointed.
2 ★If you have to use this app, use it for the rideshare feature, but only use it when you absolutely need to. It's expensive for one, but that is not the only reason I give it two stars. It doesn't fully work if you live in an apartment complex. Drivers will have a hard time finding your location, and you'll end up having to direct them to your apartment. I was told by the Uber driver that the GPS for the app will not properly lead you to the exact location of your apartment building.
1 ★My experience with the drivers has always been stellar. However, my experience with the app has not lived up to bare minimum standards as set forth by what the app claims to offer. The app claims to offer the ability to schedule a ride from one place to another. I have literally never been able to find a place from which I can schedule a pickup for a ride. Every single place I have ever tried has been deemed ineligible for prescheduled ride service. Including in Chicago. Ridiculous.

As a driver the most requested features: Add or Modify Stop or Address. this is a frequent occurrence with college kids giving the wrong address and then me having to pick up my phone and manually Google it while the main driver app is open on my tablet. This could be totally avoided by giving riders the ability to correct it in a straight forward way. 2nd feature: Re-book immediately after completing a ride. sometimes they need to pick up something and go back but end up with a
2 ★This app use to be quick and efficient, now it takes forever to load . I have to open and close the app at least 2 times before it actually works. The loading time for all actions is ridiculous in this technological age, especially since Uber is made for a mobile platform. Please find a solution to these issues. Otherwise the service is great. Upgrade the application.
1 ★The app is very disorganized. Trying to get customer service help is inconvenient. There is no number to call and the chat isn't readily available. It's also not easy to find where previous chats were. You would think it would be in messages or the Uber trip, but it's not. On top of that, they information about various charges aren't clear.
1 ★They charge you a second time for each ride (without your knowledge or consent), then cancel the first charge a few hours later (effectively stealing any interest you and millions of other users would have earned on that money during that time). Of course, the bank takes a few days to process the cancellation, so I was nearly stranded in an unfamiliar city because I had $100 less than I thought I did.
2 ★Uber is overall a ok app IMO. However sometimes the map does this weird thing. I put the destination as "Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation area" and then when I click confirm, it redirects my destination to a random place. Very disappointing, and doesn't make much sense. My friends have all been able to Uber up to Bogus Basin except me. Very unsatisfied...
1 ★My trip was changed completely by the app to addresses. I don't know how this happened. I don't know either addresses & did NoT put them in myself. I physically typed out both addresses pick up & destination. Once the driver going above and beyond found Me. She was very pleasant and assisted Me in arriving at My intended destination. The driver definitely earned the 5 stars. The 1 star is for the app & the inconvenience of arriving at My destination late. I most likely won't use Uber again.
3 ★It takes forever to find a driver, but even when one is assigned the app (driver?) drops it, then I have to wait several more minutes to get next driver assigned & so forth. App will say pickup is 4 min, but when the first driver responds, it ends up being 8-10, then they drop & the next driver takes another 6-8, etc. I also have to open/close app half dozen times just to see the first set of times & rates. I can see car icons on the map but no rates or arrival times listed.
1 ★I wouldn't use Uber if I had a better option. Many, many times, I have placed an order, paid (amount placed in pending status and thus inaccessible for many days), waited for over 15 minutes for Uber to locate a driver only to be told no driver could be located. Minutes later, when re-requesting a ride, a driver is immediately located but at a much higher rate (double what was quoted a few minutes prior). I've had multiple charges in one day for one trip and...just say no to Uber!
