4 ★Glitching and freezing quite often. Sometimesit takes longer than normal to even start. App has too many steps required to complete pickup and move forward with deliveries and it definitely takes too long communicating with Google Maps to acquire directions to delivery drop -offs. I don't know for sure if every Postmate is having these issues, but I have a friend that does Postmates, as well, and she has the same issues with the app. There are others, but these are the main ones.
1 ★This app has more annoying glitches than I have time to list, and it's been this way for over a year. The most frustrating glitch I'll list here is the one that causes you to randomly go offline if you have the app running in the background. You need to babysit your phone and check the app every 2 minutes to make sure you're still online, which causes you to miss out on who knows how many deliveries. With a million other glitches, this app has been barely functional for well over a year now.
1 ★Out of the first 3 deliveries, two were cancelled once I arrived and the other stated "we don't do Postmates". Wasted 1.5hrs, made absolutely nothing.
1 ★App is terrible. Lately it's been hard for me to go online. I know it's not my network because it's strong. I think, since I had cut back on my driving the last couple of weeks. This started happening. If postmates is doing this because of me not driving that's low. When you are sick on an off and your body is weak you can't do anything anyway. I still have my days where at times I don't like going online. I guess postmates don't like you doing 1 to 2 trips a day
2 ★The app needs more adjustments and the customer service phone number isn't any good. You never can talk to anyone, its always unavailable when you call, or you get the same recorded message saying an estimated wait time to speak to a customer care representative is 59 minutes! That is bad when you're working and can't get cleared to move on to the next delivery, or waiting on compensation for driving to resturants only to have it cancelled when you arrive.
2 ★I drive for postmate ,my honest opinion is that I don't get enough deliveries (food or whatever it is,petsmart.) I make more money doing something else (different app, don't want to disclose isn't fair, this is an honest opinion)but I still use it almost every day or every time I go out. Overall I like the app concept but needs lots of improvement. Two starts, one because allows me to make some sore of money ,Second star Because the customer service is some what decent. I will continue to use.
1 ★I think this app is a joke, I've had nothing but problems with postmates fleet ever since I signed up back in Dec 2020. I finally decided to stop working for them because every time I logged into my account something went wrong and i would have to call them to get them to fix it. It was to much of a headache to keep dealing with. I was also paying more for gas than I was making. When I decided to no longer do this I still had a balance of $3.10 on my account when I tried to cash out it wouldn't let me because it said you had to have $5.00 to be able to cash out so I called the support number and was waiting to speak with someone for 19 minutes and it said your estimated wait time is 18 minutes. When it had reached 20.50 minutes with waiting to speak to someone it came back on and said my estimated wait time is 23 minutes. This company is a joke and they do not care about there employees. I will not recommend this company to anyone. If I could I would give 0 stars. get your act together postmates fleet.
2 ★Been having issues for a while now when I hit "navigate" of it putting the wrong pickup or delivery address into google maps which ended up taking me to a place that didn't exist or the wrong place. I've been having to pull over every time I get an order just to verify all the addresses so I don't end up 20 minutes in the opposite direction of where I'm supposed to be
1 ★The app works basically well, but there are several features I wish it had that aren't there. You can't customize your routes (handy if a pickup is going to take a while and you want to drop another order off while you wait). You can't see area boundaries from the active map. I still haven't found the Fleet Support information & can only ever contact a representative if it's about an order. It almost feels like Postmates doesn't care about it's drivers. The Fleet app is so unfriendly to users.
1 ★The recent reviews make so much sense. I downloaded ap it worked just fine for me one night then the next day nothing at all I emailed support and kept them updated and no troubleshooting method they provided me gave me any results. I've literally been parked in a red spot for 3hrs now and still not a single delivery to come into my phone. I have 5 bars and my phone has plenty of battery life yet still no pick ups. At this point I feel like I'm purposely being screwed out of the bonus.
1 ★The app has nothing to do with it, just the company. DO NOT, work for Postmates. I had no problems with them until 5 days ago. I was supposed to get my weekly payout as well as the instant deposits but I still have yet to recieve them. I contacted and emailed support 2 times and no response. Truly disappointed that I will end up sueing the company.
3 ★I actually think this app is well designed and it's easier to navigate between the Waze app and this one compared to DoorDash. Also I don't go out of delivery zones after one delivery like with DoorDash. That being said the bugs are real. I had one bug in my favor where the app paid me twice for deliveries on a day. It happened when I did an instant deposit and then reset my phone and restored the app from a Google email backup. I emailed support a couple times to let them know, but no response.
