1 ★The app sucks. Very problematic. Now it's becoming an easy way to finesse riders out of their money. Long time customer. The badges mean nothing. Tipping well means absolutely nothing. Prices are hiked up constantly by the minute. Lyft doesn't care about customers nor economic crisis. $40 for a ride that 5 mins prior was $11. This isn't right. Common sense suggests that something else is going on with these prices.
1 ★The time it takes for a driver is slow and multiple. Their map is horible so sometimes you won't get picked up at your place and have to call and argue with them and if you don't type your address well there's good chance they will say you 3 or 5 blocks away... oh and when they give you a 10 min wait time on your ride that doesn't count 3 drivers driving half way their and canceling. Now if you cancel you have to pay but when your watching the driver drive the wrong direction you are stuck.
1 ★This BS, I have had this app for a long time, but this is ridiculous, Ive been waiting for a drive for about an hour or more. I had 5 drivers cancel on me even when they're close by, and the prices were great before, now it has gotten stupidly high i don't know what heck is going on. This app is not great as it used to be.
1 ★DO NOT USE. I was waiting on a ride outside of a venue for over an hour. Almost got mugged waiting on a ride that never ended up showing. But it said it was searching for drivers and my 25 dollar ride was already processed. Couldn't reset the app or anything was just stuck had to call an uber.
2 ★I tried using Lux several times and the app kept freezing. Also, the app showed it would only take 5 minutes for the non-Lux ride to show up and when I went to select it, no driver could be found. It is absolutely infuriating when the app is misleading about wait times. Luckily a friend very quickly found us an Uber so we were not late for our event.
2 ★I rode with Lyft for a long time. In my years, I've had, for the most part, good drivers and reasonable prices (you could only get cheaper if you had a friend that would drive you for a few bucks). This said, I've come to be disappointed in Lyft. The biggest issue? The system. I've had a driver far off but confirmed to pick me up. I don't care if another driver is closer, I want the guy that already invested the time to come my way. I've gotten cancelled on because Lyft changed drivers on me.
3 ★I've always used lyft & preferred it over Uber. But recently it's nearly impossible to get a ride, even in a major city. Which was totally understandable because of covid but I thought it would get better since my town & state is practically fully opened back up but no matter where I am there are "very few drivers available." People have places that they need to be again. & the price gouging is so ridiculous, to pay almost double what I normally pay & sit there & wait to maybe get a ride.
1 ★if I could give this app/ company 0 stars I would because it's horrible. Me and my husband called a Lyft after shopping and while I was checking out he went outside to tell the Lyft that we would be right out at that time he put his phone and a few other things in the car to help me carry groceries well the Lyft driver took off with his brand new phone over 50 in scratch offs and he took off. Lyft doesn't see this as an issue and their response is "we can't get ahold of them" theives
1 ★Lyft is supposed to be an affordable alternative. Lyft has gotten much more expensive. I tried to take a ride this morning 6/27/21 and what is normally a $6 or $7 ride was $20 for a 5 minute ride. In a cab the ride is no more than $8. There is no telling what price you will be charged lately. The ride i was going take is anywhere from $12 to $14 round trip. Lyft pricing is horrible lately.
3 ★My driver went (I dont know where?) Waited the 5 minutes and left. As this was unfolding I tapped the tele icon to driver to tell him we were waiting. The app said no calls only text. I text. I receive a response. Its a tap link. The tap took me to an app install, Planet something, with all the sales jazz. I ordered another car and he was golden. We were almost an hour late to the dr. appt. Plus I, me, received a charge for the mixup. I was in front of my house, where was the driver? Charge him!
1 ★This app isnt reliable like before. Thankfully its just a handful of drivers that dont confirm rides and call and text back. You will end up paying 3 times the cost of a 10 min ride afterwards. The scheduling rides is much harder post pandemic. Even in the middle of the pandemic reliably and affordability never been a issue before til now. The app is slowing becoming more harder to use and honesty very very increasing frustrating. Uber im glad is back up wish Lyft was back to being user friendly
3 ★I don't like that they charge you a $5 fee for canceling when your driver is very far away Uber doesn't do that. I think that's very unfair. I could understand if they were close and I cancelled but if they're 11 to 10 minutes away that's justifiable. Customers time is Valuable too. Please Do Better 😒
