3 ★It's somewhat confusing to have to switch back and forth between hosting and traveling to view your messages in each different inbox. it be awesome if you could message a host without having to send an inquiry like you were wanting to book. It would be better for communication purposes if it was like that I found that not all of my messages will come through on the app on my phone, like they do if I use the computer to view my Airbnb profile.
5 ★The Airbnb app is my 'go-to toool'when looking for a weekend getaway or vacation rental. My preference is usually a home vacation rental and/or a secluded. Airbnb is the place. The app is easy to navigate. I like the interactive map that reveals rentals w/prices in that area. One suggestion would be to add 6 to gàqother items in search criteria. In one instance 'fishing ' would have been a great option.
1 ★Do not trust these listings! 1 star for properties listed as available, but not actually available. 1 for prompts to rate app, even after you rate app. Obnoxious. Add on fees are separate from 'cost per night', making fair comparison against honestly priced hotels and other lodging impossible. Fees are also often astronomical. As a user, experience with hosts has ranged from truly incredible... Down to slum landlord with heavily photoshopped images that completely misrepresent actual lodging.
2 ★Rude host, bad customer support, expensive I didn't have the best experience with my host, so I left an honest but not overly harsh review. Air BnB took it down my, gave me a subjective and vague reason why, and essentially said there's nothing they can do. I've been transferred to multiple agents, and it's frustrating. The prices for a stay can be found cheaper with other alternatives than this app.
3 ★Mostly I like the app, but super annoyed with the picture settings both on the app and on the website. No rotation, seriously? I mean seriously?!? And no zooming in? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? But if I have a pc I can see more detail. What a lame design strategy... 😶 And on the website once I go to the Show all photos, the arrows don't work. I find it amazing someone even had to point that out. Baffled
2 ★The initiative and the concept is definitely amazing. However, the convenience of the booking process gets hampered due to the glitches in the app. I have been using it for quite some time now and every time during the payment part it glitches and the payment fails. And it's not just with me, my friends have also experienced the same. Moreover, the app needs to be updated in terms of some of its features. For eg, it doesn't show you a clear address of the location.
1 ★Seems designed to frustrate and make the business of booking a holiday let as difficult as possible. Very buggy I cannot believe that the issues with using the app have not been picked up in beta testing. You are prompted to verify ID when booking but it uses the device rear camera with no option to switch, my Chromebook doesn't have a rear camera but I can't switch to the front camera it does have. Also doesn't recognise it's own verification code sent to phone.
2 ★Why blocking the auto rotate? So annoying that I can't see some photos properly since the photos are in landscape and to add assault to the injury, there is no zoom! Also, I have to click twice in a photo that I want to see in full screen: when I enter into the place details there is a carousel of photos that when I see some photo that I want to check, when I click (tap with my finger) goes to the gallery. No! You're the only ones like this, normal is to have a gallery button.
3 ★Booked for my first time now, so I'll say more after my stay, but for now I have to put 3 stars because of the glitches with the text boxes. It seems like this app has never been tested before release. Input caret randomly moving around while typing the message for the Host during booking, and while typing my address for identity verification I had to resort to copying and pasting because the automatic street filling screen popping up from the app wasn't allowing me to fix the address manually
1 ★Unfortunately such a disappointment! There are facilities listed which show available and once you want to reserve them they get rejected by the host saying it's full. Also I had so much complications with the ID check process. Tried about 10 times and contacted the costumer service couple of times and at the end I couldn't identify my account and couldn't book the accomodations. I had to use another user friendlier app which have better response and services.
1 ★I made a reservation for 2 guests and it was all good, the payment was smooth. It said on the app that I can add total of 4 guests so I added another 1 and it was so easy as well until I received notification from my bank that there is another charge from Airbnb! I was very surprised because there was no heads up at all that my card was about to get charged again when I was adding another guest. It felt like they stole money from me. It is a bad experience.
1 ★Used to be good but the calendar became a joke, forcing to use the desktop version at all times, if you need to adjust prices, availabilities, notes for more than a few days. Not to mention restrictions, absent on mobile. And what about translations? They added a crazy spelling and grammar check, which just prevents writing anything that's correct. A great responsibility pretending to fix grammar in all languages, it barely scratches the surface of a beta version... worst thing it's a blocker!
