5 ★A very useful and essential app for me especially for getting a cab when I most need it. Just sometimes it gives me a taxi from a very far place or some drivers cancelling when they are already near and I have waited long already for them. Otherwise, generally, it's good. I also love the online food delivery--better delivery and customer support experience than the previous app I had. Yet to use the other features. Please keep it up.
5 ★On 15/12/2023, I got a ride to the airport. Unfortunately, I forgot my car and apartment keys in the Captain's car! 6 days later, I realised .y keys were missing. I got on the app and made contact, and within an hour, I received feedback. The captain confirmed, with a picture, that I had left my keys in his car. I landed back on 30/12/2023. I contacted the Captain to organise with him to get my keys! He drove to my location and gave me my keys! I am so grateful towards him for returning my keys!
1 ★They took my money for a 24 hour bike subscription and shut the bikes off after 3 hours. I was only able to ride 1 time for 45 minutes and when I tried to undock the bike later, all bikes were unavailable. This was new years eve. Why would a company lock the best form of transportation when roads would be clogged due to Sheik Zayed road being closed for NYE celebrations. I requested a refund for the 40 dirham I paid and did not receive the full 24 hours of usage for and they refused.
1 ★Highly rated poor services. Captains dont want to come to pick up. Sharing fake reasons of not coming to booked ride. Waste alot of time. Zero customer services. Never helpful. Soooo sooooo bad experience. Cannot even want to give 1 star as well. They wasted my 1 n half hour n no one came on booked ride. Highly disappointed. Poor poor service at all.
5 ★We had and issue of lost electric cycle while placing on charging dock the issue was raised and we had a refund . Thanks for resolving the issue . Well I want to suggest one thing that the app should allow user to end the ride just like other apps of e-scooty allows riders to cancel the ride when they finish . As sometimes docking station have some issue to accept the bike to hold so user can easily end ride from app and no one else would be able to misuse the bike . Thanks
1 ★So after not using the app for over a year, i discover that i have an outstanding payment from a country that i did nto even visit for over a whole year. Apparently someone managed to access my account, book rides, use whatever credit i had left and now there is an outstanding payment that i need to settle. The helpdesk keeps sayinf their dispute policy is 30 days only, how would i know that when i wasnt even using the app for over a year?
1 ★WORST App Experience ever for Careem Bike in Abu Dhabi. NEVER AGAIN!!! - Poorly maintained bikes and stations. -App cannot detect your location precisely and refuses to unlock the bike at many stations in Abu Dhabi. -Sometimes your journey starts even if the bike is still locked!!! This keeps on taking place even after updating the App. and happened with many other users I met while trying to unlock the bikes, it is not an individual case.
5 ★Everything is perfect with careem and easier to book a tax. But sometimes captains keeps on missing pick up locations. Thanks
1 ★Booking shows the amount but suddenly Careem decided to be on unfair peak hour charges WHILE I'm in my booked taxi. My 2kms went Aed52 plus the booking is for about 6kms in total. It's like I went to AUH back and forth with good-snacks charges. This happens too often now. Why? Even the Careem+, says you get free ride at the end of the package but technically you paid for it as the ride charges are higher than regular bookings. Try not to be too greedy, that feels good too.
1 ★Pathetic service and no control on drivers..... Waited around 30 to 40 mins at LHR airport but all drivers requested me to cancel,, on refusal they cancelled themselves... I contacted Helpline twice but no use.... Even the online status with helpline was wrong.. And it's a normal feature now, drivers stay at their location and delay so that the customer cancel themselves... I have complaint about same numerous time but I don't think so any thing improved or drivers were accountable...
1 ★This app is a joke. I'm in Cairo, and it tells you a car is 4/5 minutes away and it does not arrive for 30-45 minutes. Then when they do arrive after having kept you waiting, they cancel in the hope that you'll continue the journey but pay them an inflated price in cash. The app also tried to convince to use their "comfort" version where the cars are newer but no difference in the quality of cars. The drivers will pick you up from where ever they feel, not the pinned location. Use Uber.
1 ★I needed slips from Careem food delivery to submit them as an expense. Unfortunately, the slips were not available outside of the UAE, so I had to request them from the support team. The team has taken 10 days (and counting) to generate the slips. To all my follow-up requests, they replied that the issue was given the highest priority, and yet the receipts are not ready after 10 days. I am running out of time to submit my expenses and losing money on poor systems and support from Careem :(
