Description

For use by existing Broadview Networks OfficeSuite® customers only.
Make your OfficeSuite® phone mobile. When enabled, customers of Broadview Networks OfficeSuite® cloud-based phone service can use this app to make and receive calls from their Android device as if dialing from their OfficeSuite® desk phone. Dial co-workers by extension and use your company calling plan instead of expensive cell phone minutes. Dial using your business phone number from your address book. Use WiFi and your mobile data plan. Optimized for Android phones, the app may not render correctly on Android tablets. Note: This application requires you to have a Broadview OfficeSuite® phone system and to have this app enabled by your local phone system administrator through Broadview Networks.

The emergency calling service provided by Broadview Networks for this app behaves differently than traditional 911 or Enhanced 911(E911) services provided on traditional phone lines. Specifically if you dial 911 from the app running on a mobile phone, the app will place the call using your native mobile phone service and the call will be processed by your wireless carrier in the same manner as if you had dialed it directly from the mobile phone without the OfficeSuite® app. 911 does not work on Android tablets or any device without a built-in phone capability. Any attempt to place a 911 call on such a device will fail. In such a situation you are advised to seek an alternate means of contacting emergency services.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★The app works well with good voice quality. It does not play well switching from wifi to my data plan, so when I leave my office it often fails in the car (defeating the whole purpose). This is a known issue and is reportedly being addressed. Removing and reinstalling the app can remedy most errors. The app is able to access my Android contacts but lacks 'Favorite' list of contacts so each time I must search for numbers. Broadview support has been STELLAR. No product is perfect but they are sure trying!
1 ★That notification even when the account is logged out is super annoying.....I'm using this on my personal device and would like to have a way of disappearing that at least when I'm logged out.
5 ★Easily use your mobile phone as your office phone. Your cell phone can be used remotely, as if you were sitting in your office using your desk phone. Awesome!
5 ★Works great during a business trip to Canada to avoid Verizon global roaming charges
1 ★Can't transfer calls and only works on WiFi
5 ★Great App
4 ★Cool App..
2 ★Still very buggy, can't choose ringtone (can select, but it does not take). Also enough of the e911 nag.
5 ★Easy to use
5 ★Very happy. Was told the call quality was better than when using the office phone ext to ext. Wont work when at home and connected to my home wifi as have my router locked down. But that is because i did it. I just need to contract support and find out what Ports i need to open up.
5 ★Once I added the softphone to my OfficeSuite account I easily downloaded and installed the app. The app uses the same user name and password as my regular office phone and a unique license # thta was given to me when I signed up. Very easy to login to the app and start calling. I am also using this in my car with bluetooth over the Verizon 4G network. I love listening to system voicemails on my way home. I even use it for three way calls.
4 ★I was messing around with Preferences when an unexpected call came in. Call qulity was great abd the caller showed no signs that the sound was anything less than 'normal'. I would like to see Preference menu at the Home Key on my Samsung Galaxy Note II.
