Grandstream Wave is a FREE softphone application which allows users to make and receive voice/video calls through their business or residential SIP accounts on any Android™ device (version 4.1+) from anywhere in the world, via either cellular data or WiFi. This application supports integration of up to 6 SIP accounts, 6-way voice conferencing, and allows users to monitor their IP PBX (such as Grandstream's UCM6100 series IP PBX & UCM6510 IP PBX) while utilizing speed dial with up to 24 virtual BLF keys. Grandstream Wave also supports advanced SIP telephony features including call transfer, LDAP phonebook integration and more. 1 ★Be Careful, This is a Spying App! This Grandstream Wave (GS Wave) App Forcefully Requires Multiple Nonsense Permissions to Open (to Work) including: - Recording Audio, - Recording Video, - Access to your Files! - In addition, it Needs Access to your Phone Calls and Contacts! If you don't want to "Spy" on us, Why Do You Forcefully need so many Nonsense Permissions?! For the VOIP, you just need the access to the Telephone. Just it! The other Nonsense Permitons has to be Optional!
4 ★I am experiencing problem since update, that there is no notification on incoming calls! End of the incoming calls are shown in missed calls log (My Android is 7. 0/MIUI 11.0.2 Stable) . Hope Grand stream will look into this. - Actually it is a better app than others compared with features like multiple SIP accounts, call transfer, forward, BLF, DND etc. I am using this app since 2017.
2 ★Great App. Works well with bsnl wings. But there is a most annoying thing , the app disconnects and showing registered failed to SIP most of the times and i am missing many calls. It happens mostly while switching networks ( 4G to wifi ). Checked online and many users are complaining the same issue. Developers please address this issue ASAP.
4 ★Please update call ending sound.. it's very important...I did not understand when the call was cut off.
4 ★Very useable app, has replaced my desk phone when I am not in the office. Allows users to utilize call forwarding and "see" the other SIP users status. I direct calls to forward to my cell phone as the bluetooth headset is more functional. Only downside- the reason I gave 4 stars- is that connectivity can be finnicky sometimes.
2 ★crashes? installs fine and starts fine. i can even make calls abd all is good BUT the app completely shuts down (stops running) after a short time with no notification. Obviously no calls can be received when the app stops running completely with no background processes. so thus app us worse than useless as you're set up to miss calls and be oblivious that anyone was calling. Other apps don't have this problem.
3 ★Good but.. It's consumed battery too much. Please fixed it next update.. Call quality that means sound quality not good. It should be more clear and loud and smooth.
