A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

3 ★Works as a proof of concept, but lots of important features are missing. For example: If I have my Bluetooth Headset on, it still uses the phone's integrated speaker. There's also an issue regarding local calls on FritzBoxes, where sometimes a call won't go through to a local number. This is not an issue with other VOIP Clients, like Twinkle, which just works. Also, the User Interface for setting up a new connection is sometimes unintuitive for new users (Difference TCP/UDP should be explained)
4 ★I used CSip Simple for years and switched to Zoiper when it was discontinued. So far I am pretty satisfied with the app and thinking to buy the Pro version. But there is one issue: Most of the times when i receive a call, if the phone is locked, i hear the ringtone but the screen does not appear. Even if i manually unlock, i still can not see the popup window. I have S9+. Can you please help.
2 ★A good app, but the nagging screens are nasty. Got to check double what you tap on. Edit: I believe it happened after a system reboot, that the app would start with a full screen mesaage explaining premium features, which took me a moment to figure out whether I had to press Yes or No to skip the message. I hope this will not show up regularly. Edit2: the nagging screens come with every restart. Two screens to carefully click through to not sign up for something. I uninstalled.
5 ★Works reliably. I purchased the PUSH option, runs all the time with minimal battery drain. Once in a while the accounts won't register, but restarting the app solves the problem. Initially when I made calls on mobile data, I could not hear the other party, but they could hear me. Solution was to enable the Connectivity -> Proxy Protocol to SIP+RTP.
2 ★This app wouldn't work for me over mobile connections at all (2G, 3G or 4G), only over Wifi. It took quite a bit of experimentation to discover this - the error message is "wrong network type" but the only network type configurable in the account settings is for things like UDP and port numbers. I can't remember exactly where I found it in the end, something like swipe from the left, go up a level, scroll down, select "Advanced", scroll down, select Network...The equivalent app on an iPhone makes calls over the mobile network OK (same provider, same location). When I did get it working, it wouldn't dial numbers in my phone book, only from the keyboard (with a double sound that makes you think you've pressed each digit twice). It turns out it doesn't like spaces in phone numbers. I do like spaces and I'm not about to remove them from every entry in my contacts, sorry. Again, the equivalent iPhone app is fine. It flattens the mobile battery pretty quickly unless you pay an extra subscription (admittedly very cheap, but I didn't try it in view of the other problems). I won't be buying the Pro version either, I'm afraid.
3 ★It's a great app, but the voicemail notification (MWI) is a very important part of the VOIP experience. Considering that Zoiper is lacking this feature I can't give it a higher rating until that's addressed. The developers have made statements saying it's planned for future releases, however that was over 3 years ago, which doesnt instill much confidence that it will ever arrive.
4 ★It's been working well. 2 issues I have are that the call display text is so big it can't be read on the phones home screen and the app doesn't rotate to let it have more room. and then I was going to try the free trial to see if that would fix it but I see they don't tell you how much it is on the phone app just that the trial is free. I think they take your credit card to start the trial then it becomes a negative option to continue and start billing your CC. it's not clear how it works.it just says premium features. I see on play store there is a PRO Version for $12.99CAD but it's not clear if that is what your getting with the trial as one is called premium and the other is called PRO
2 ★Unbelievable. Don't use it for your business calls. While they have made a serious effort to create a phone app, in essence the whole app is self-cancelled by the fact that it doesn't work with Bluetooth. Sometimes the BT works, some others not and some others it starts with the sound been heard from the Bluetooth and then it is transferred back to phone's audio. It's all random, you can't predict or do something about it. So useless.
1 ★App is buggy - deregisters in the background and the only way to reregister is force kill the app from settings. Disconnect/Reconnect in the app doesn't work. Support makes you "reinstall the app", but the app doesn't have any way to backup or import settings or all your accounts. Call recordings put in a folder very hard to access android >11, no way to change folder. STOP telling me to contact support, they are useless. Add an import/expert feature, it's not that hard!
1 ★Was: Reliable. Does what I need. Now: after I left the initial review and rating, the app stopped working properly. I still can call but the recipient cannot hear me. I tried with the same 3 different SIP service providers and the result is the same:no sound on the other side. Consequently, it must be the app since there was no update of the settings. Moreover, the reply was that I can't read what to do with one way audio. Well, if I can't read, I switched to Acrobits Softphone app which works like a charm with one upfront pay that includes a permanent push service. What is best is that it does not require reading!! Zoiper, on the other hand, requires subscription for a push service that does not work. When using mobile data the other side does not hear me when I initiate the call irrespective of the use of their push notification. Going to garbage! Deleted!
5 ★Works very well. I pay about a pound a month to make sure my app is always on, and it is, so well worth it. It was a lifesaver in Tunsia on a local cheap data SIM. No complaints, money well spent. I was using a free app before, but its worth paying a very small amount (they do have a free option). I combine with Localphone numbers, and its well worth it. Highly recommended, and suggest the small upgrade, money well spent. Update: two more years has passed and I'm still 100% satisfied!
2 ★Reduced rating. 1. Since recently I get notifications that this app is using microphone in background. Make sure you kill this app when not in use. They say that their latest update fixes the issue, but it does not. 2. Another issue: after ~20 minutes of conversation it drops the call and starts playing back your just recorded conversation. First few times it's absolutely confusing, until you get to know its strange habit. There are no settings to disable this unwanted recording at all. I don't even know what zoiper does with these recordings. Maybe file is sent back to the office and they all listen to it. Doesn't give me any confidence in the safety of my private conversations.
