5 ★Updating my review because the app was updated a couple of months ago and now works almost perfectly on my Hisense TV.
2 ★Update my price with out letting me know. Not cool at all. Way over priced.
3 ★I love the service as a Cable TV replacement, the DVR and the interface are great and multiple user profiles for the household are wonderful. I am not a fan of live TV starting to stream as soon as you open the app and hope you can add a toggle to turn this off in the settings soon. There are still no shows ever added to the "Play Next" bar in Android TV, YouTube TV is not alone in this, it only seems to be used by Pluto TV and the HBO app. More a criticism of the service and not the app, there is still no surround audio from all the channels and I know they broadcast to cable tv with that. People using a Android TV box probably use it in a home theater setup so surround would be appreciated. I would also love it if you could change the icon to the dark scheme like on Roku so it doesn't look so much like the YouTube icon on Android TV.
2 ★Latest update (v1.05.05) makes a LOUD popping sound every time I change the channel or fast forward/rewind. This is on an Nvidia Shield TV. It's not an issue with my TV setup since it only happens in this app and the latest YouTube app (ie, Netflix, Hulu, etc. don't do this).
3 ★It works but supper clunky. The live section is a joke. The phones do a much better job in that section. The skip forward is clunky and needs work.
2 ★Why no 5.1 surround sound output for Sony XBR X900E? Many other streaming apps have it. Otherwise, all else is good
4 ★Works well enough, better (in my opinion) than sling.tv. Would be great if the app integrated with Android TV's channel guide.
3 ★It is great on my Nexus Player, but really wish it would work on my MiBox. When is support coming for other Android TV models.

3 ★The app is OK on my Shield. It needs to have surround sound, all the other streaming apps on Shield support at least Dolby 5.1, why not this?
4 ★Finally, this app has moved up to a worthy 4 stars.... Making it available via my Nexus Player and my Shield TV now makes it complete.... Quality is amazing and the DVR ability works great.... The only couple of things preventing me from giving 5 stars is a better TV guide and getting my FOX local (WPB). Currently, it only provides the national FOX.
3 ★Great quality, easy navigation, but no support for multiple users (family members), no filters (restrictions). Needs these other things to really compete with ps vue and Hulu live
