A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★New update is great!
2 ★2 stars. The app only does a few things and a couple of those it doesn't do well. It integrates with a couple apps well, but somehow cannot get integration with Plex right. Some movies it can see what Plex has, others it won't. It especially hates newly added content. I would give 3, but I had to pay for the app and then it's asking me for more money to do admin things.
4 ★I can't request music.
2 ★Underdeveloped and relatively ignored. Slow, buggy, and not fully functional, even on V4 with beta app. Happened to find Overseerr today and it's a much cleaner and more stable platform for requests, but no phone app yet. Edit: all of my testing of this Ombi and the app has been done in the last 3 days.
3 ★Can't log in Update: at the developers request I tried again and I still can't login. Either via local ip:port or NAT with loopback (and a VPN to be safe)... I double checked credentials sand tried making a test local account. No joy.
5 ★Upon further review, it seems they fixed the crash issues. User interface is responsive and very well organized now. Thanks for the update, cheers!
5 ★Great companion with the ombi web app. Would 100% recommend! Update, new update is amazing! Nice work!
5 ★My Kids and family love the app, so easy to use . Allows them to find what they like, with the piece of mind that I know all the sources. Getting new media on Plex had never been so easy. This is just the app I've been needing. Will be getting the kids there own copy soon. Definitely going to upgrade to the admin to help support you, Ty Looking forward to seeing future updates.
3 ★I was more than happy to donate a few dollars for Ombi development, but didn't expect this cash grab. $1.40 (CAD) just to see requests, and another $5.50 just to approve them? The app is not refined enough to be worth it. Can't support any app that uses a "Pay to get it, pay more to use it" scheme. If you're going to charge more, the base app should be free. Not 2 charges. I didn't see mention of the second charge for "Admin" features in the description. Refunded.
3 ★3 stars out of 5 because the app doesn't sync like the website. Content that is available doesn't show as available unless I manually request it and mark it as available. Also, I can't enable notifications. I've paid for the full version but when I tap the button to enable notifications nothing happens and it still shows that notifications are off.
1 ★It's 2021 and I bought the app again. You still need to buy admin functionality within the app this isn't to my liking. Refunding.
1 ★I would really like to see the ability to change the folder path when approving requests. purchsed this with auther reposes mention new features to be added and still have not seen any. it has been months. i still have to use the website to approve requests properly. dont wast your money. Dev's response: TidusJarApril 1, 2019 Correct, this feature is planned. Currently I am working on Ombi V4, the new UI that will be out soon. Then I'll be reworking a lot of the app. But thanks for the review that only comments on missing planned functionality. Edit: Apparently the dev likes to make snide comments so let me explain this in much more detail. i have owned the app for 4 months now and there has not been a SINGLE feature update. The app is slow and clunky so it is much easier to use the website. There is no communication when you reach out to the dev with issues/feature requests until you give him a crappy review. So again, i repeat myself. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. especially on the admin features because they are utterly useless.
