A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Guide is useless. Cannot set a program to record. Update - I wish I could change the rating to zero stars. The record option is there now. But when I try to record something, it tries to record it on a channel that I don't have instead of the channel I am currently on in guide. Then the message about "upgrade subscription to watch" pops up. Super lame. I give up.
1 ★The app was more user friendly before the most recent update (8/23). You used to be able to scroll through the channels and tap the left side of the channels logo that you were interested in and see what was scheduled on that channel for a couple of weeks. I hope you guys bring that feature back. It was very helpful. Update: Your response to this issue was nonsense. Now I can't even open the app.
1 ★The update is terrible. Since the update the end of July 2023 the app doesn't load on my Galaxy S7. It was perfect until this update. 08/31/2023 - You sent thru some new tweak last night and screwed up the app connectivity AGAIN! From what was once a very usable, stable app you've managed to turn it into a real pile of manure. If I only used it once in a great while, I wouldn't care, but it is one of my most used apps aside from my browser.
2 ★The latest version of the interface really sucks. The old one wasn't pretty but was functional. The new one doesn't handle mouse input well on my tablet. You can only mute the sound from the main screen otherwise I have to use the buttons on the device. Can't drag the previous station list you have to use side scrolling or you're finger. Overall I do not find this update to be a step forward.
1 ★I hate the new update! I don't like loss of the grid view of the channel line up on my phone. I was able to quickly change channels on my TV using my phone without having to reach for the remote. You have taken this feature away which now makes this app totally useless in my hands. I don't prefer to use the app to view TV content on my cel phone. Please fix this!!!!
1 ★Not that I expect the developers of this app to listen to users about a blatant corner cutting UI change but the new layout sucks. It's hostile and is especially hostile to anyone disabled. You can ONLY navigate channels using the guide grid now, there is no channel listing. This often makes the channels difficult to select. And it's no longer possible to watch TV on a large portion of your screen while browsing channels. Unacceptable, this will be a factor in choosing TV providers for us.
3 ★The app should includes some key features like being able to type in the channel number and switch back to the previous channel. In addition, the cost of cable is excessive. I should be able to watch all of the channels I pay for when traveling & using the app. Cut a deal with LG TV mfg to include the ability to add the spectrum app to their smart TV's
1 ★The most handy part of the app... The stand alone Guide is gone. Very hard to set your DVR remotely now. And it's also more difficult to navigate even the on-demand. The font and spacing of each channel is way too big, so difficult to roam across channels and content easily. Sorry, but terrible update in all regards. The slider bar with the channel numbers is gone too.
3 ★I enjoy using the Spectrum TV app often, but the new update is disappointing. Viewing is still fine. I don't know why they got rid of the stand-alone guide. Now I have to waste data if I'm out someplace and want to set a recording through the app. Why can't I use the guide without the video playing? It could still be integrated with the option to show/no-show the video...plus that would provide more real estate for the guide. Then how about having the fullscreen guide in landscape mode? Please?
2 ★The latest version of this app lacks the Guide. Without that, you cannot see a program description without actually changing the channel. No more looking for a different program while continuing the program you're on. The Guide also allowed easy scrolling up and down of channels with a sidebar. Without the Guide, this app is totally frustrating and clunky, severely impacting my ease of channel surfing and enjoyment. Very disappointing.
2 ★App redesign in the new update! I'm sure they fixed the problems it haaa..... ohh... noooope. So instead of making some user interface tweaks to the live tv guide, they basically just got rid of it. Now you can't see any more than 4 channels at a time, and nothing at all past the current half hour block. Took away the ability to see any program details, too. (Instead of showing info and options, tapping a program straight changes the channel.) The UI changes are so bad it's comical.
1 ★Whoever thought eliminating the stand alone guide was a good idea made a terrible mistake. Many times I simply want to pull up the guide & set a timer away from home where I don't want sound to play. Now, you can't look at the guide without having a live show playing at inopportune times. Trying to get to the record feature takes multiple steps, including hitting the mute button or the phone volume button before you can navigate to it. Please bring back the separate Guide!
