Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★I can use my phone to get to anything on my tv. I can even make the audio go to my eatbuds... its awesome!!! Thanks Roku Update, every once in a while I get glitches. The app shuts down where I can't use it. It is still a great feature app. I still love it when it works...which is most of the time!
1 ★Freezes and crashes every other time I open it. Typing feature doesn't work, the app is laggy, widget feature doesn't even work so you still have to open the app constantly, which sometimes the app doesn't connect to the TV after the initial connection, meaning you have to close and reopen the app and wake up your device. Roku channels don't update ever so you're constantly on the worst version of the channels. Logs me out of my channels often. I could go on.
3 ★The app works fine, but is missing the most important feature and is screen mirror, how is possible that this feature is not working on Android device?? Please do something with this, like the app is able to cast media, please add the option to cast the screen. Please
5 ★Best app, I had a cheaper phone prior, Nd was always using the off brand apps, small devs ect and I upgraded phone somehow this was on app store, anyways! It works flawlessly and the talk to it feature works flawlessly, thank you devs, my daughter is always losing our 4 remotes so I don't mind it now!!!! Hahaha
5 ★I think it's funny how people are bitching but when you don't have a remote this is the next best thing especially if your remote is gone lost broken nonetheless you at least have a backup on your phone. So if it wasn't for this app I would be staring at a blank TV not being able to use it
4 ★The Roku Remote app is the best app for controlling, well obviously, your Roku Smart TV(s) whether just the one in the living room, or maybe the 4 split between the kids/guest/game room, the dude and his Man Cave, or even the kitchen/back patio, no matter where you are, as long as the device (I.e.Android Phone/Tablet, or iOS iPhone/iPad, and iPod [FYI: remember the Oper'ng. System has to be supported with app]) is on the same network as the one or addtn'l TVs, you can switch or operate one/all
5 ★Pls, dont listen to the negatives. This app is very great minus the private listening. (What Im saying is you shouldnt give a 1 star for a little mistake.) The close app thing isn't a bug btw. Thats a sign for poor/little/not much connection. This is very good mainly because I can rarely find my roku remote, so being able to have a "backup" is good.
4 ★We switch password settings when the grand kids get too involved with their devices and don't do their responsibilities. This causes the phone roku to stop communicating with the roku device on the tv because the devices disappear in the app settings. With the remote, we can change the network settings on the device. With the app we can't. We also can't control the tv volume from this app like we can with the remote. Other than these issues, the app is nice for us.
3 ★Been using this for a month and having the app on my phone was so convenient, especially when the TV sensor wasn't picking up the remote properly. But out of nowhere the app stopped registering the TV saying that the TV wasn't online even though it was. Tried changing connections and even reinstalled the app it still won't connect to my TV. Very disappointed
3 ★I always have trouble trying to connect to my TV, even when the TV is already running. I use this app for the remote (not for the extra ads), and it lets me down a lot. I usually have to force-kill the app as soon as the TV detects it and turns on, then reopen it. That doesn't work all the time, though.
4 ★I think this app is very good, the search function is great as you get a keyboard and don't have to navigate the arrows on the on screen keyboard. it's a small issue although annoying, I find if I leave the app on so I can quickly go to it to pause, skip to another show etc it stops working and I have to close it and reopen.
1 ★I originally gave a 3 star review of this app but have changed it to 1. My original complaint was that the private listening feature will randomly cut out or disconnect entirely, and since I posted my first review, the issue has gotten worse. I can't even watch 10 minutes before it disconnects. It's very frustrating, since I like using this feature when my kids are asleep. The Bluetooth headset connection on my fire tv stick was better than this, so I'm debating switching back
