5 ★This is a great app that allows a good service to give benefits like a VPN and other security measures. The issue I would have with this program is that some of the benefits are not applicable to me, and I would worry about others with the same issue. Also, when you clean files away, they can even get rid of duplicates, which is nice. I would recommend this to others for sure. The app is easy to use, navigate, and install.
1 ★Horrible. SMS backup did not work for me so I contacted them. 40 emails back and forth later with their "customer service" department and they basically told me to piss off in the end. I would rate this app zero stars if i could. The only thing Google one backed up for me (you can tell by looking on the drive what is backed up by Google one) were MMS messages. But I lost those when I had to use the SMS backup and restore app to get my texts back. Their support was a joke.
4 ★It's a little confusing and could really benefit from some of those guided tutorials that other apps have especially with all the features it does include. It's very feature ridge and very convenient and I would give it five stars if it were just a little more straightforward or if they did a little more in the way of showing just how adept this app is and all the things it's capable of.
1 ★Clearly an advertisement to get you to buy more storage space. Doesn't offer any additional features or settings then what is already in the phone. I tried app to schedule backups on my Android -which you can't do. The phone must be charging and idle for 2 hours. Besides knowing that it's best to keep your battery between 20 and 80% for longevity, in an era of fast charging and wireless charging, "idle for 2 hours" is never going to happen. We need to be able to schedule or change the idle time.
1 ★Terrible system. I paid $107 ish for the 2TB annual plan this August, which is showing active until August 2024. However, since August, I've also been charged $9.99/month in addition (why??). The card expired, now it shows that the storage is full & needs to be updated. But I had 2 subscriptions & the one showing as active. I canceled the monthly subscription but can't access the service for which I paid over $100 in August. I can't find any answers on the website & can't find anyone to contact.
1 ★Advertisement of app is misleading. I didn't check the comments. Bought the subscription to and still get the same error message. Based on complaints Google really didn't set proper expectations. If your phone storage is low sadly it just may be time for an upgrade. Extremely affordable app, but not worth the headache. Remember to cancel the subscription. Of enough people forget they have that subscription the money adds up really quick. Guess this one of the flaws of Google right now.
1 ★This app and service couldn't be more useless. You can back up your data, but you can't choose which. And then THERE IS NO WAY TO RESTORE IT. Google has outdone itself in the worst service department. And as if that weren't enough, the app is riddled with popups and ads for an irrelevant "upgrade" to what must be an even more useless version of the service.
1 ★3 hours on the phone with 2 different reps and they have cancelled my subscription without telling me and refunded me to an account I don't have anymore. One of them put me on hold for an hour and just hung up on me. Had the audacity to email me and say they got disconnected when I literally heard them put the headset down before the call disconnected. To top it off, the subscription RENEWED back in august but gave me no benefits since then.
1 ★I downloaded this app because my google account kept showing an alert that I was getting close to my data limit and would no longer be able to receive any new incoming e-mails to my account. So, I went with the smallest package, which was only supposed to be $1.99. However, I look on my bill this month and I see a charge for $19.99. I didn't agree to that. I want to know what I'm being charged for and how long it will last before I'm charged again. I feel this app is just another rip off.
4 ★I Wish the App appearance was more consistent across my devices. Each device shows different info and data, than the other devices. Some of them have all devices listed, some list half. Stove have clear "back up now" buttons, most don't. I don't know how to find my backed up data on any of them. And I pay for the extra data storage that I may, or may not, be able to find when I need it.
4 ★Great app. Backs up not only my photos and videos but also my phone data and multimedia messages. However, I backed up 3,000 photos and videos but it still stuck saying "370 waiting to back up" and it seems like it only backs everything up when your phone is on, lit up, and you're staring at it basically. But it has perks for more storage, you get YouTube premium free for 3 months, and 40% select hotels which is nice.
5 ★It's only been a short time. Everything seems good. (ONE) thing stands out is the new photo and video editing. In particular, the synthetic light brings the lines and colors into focus . As I explore, I will update this review. The editing features have made a big difference in the lighting, especially. The only issue is that I did not realize these features, when used properly, can take 3 to 4 times the space the original photo would have used. Everything seems to be a learning experience now.
