1 ★App is OK but DO NOT TRUST YOUR JOURNEY TO AMBER!!!! booked to give plenty of time to get to the station. booked taxi at 8.05 as the said the was one 10 min away. 8.20 still saying "Awaiting dispatch" 8.30, now to late to get my train. Cancelled the taxi, missed my train, had to pay full walk on fare on the next. I WILL NOT RISK TRUSTING THEM AGAIN
1 ★DO NOT USE IF YOU NEED TO RELY ON THEM ARRIVING ON TIME. I've used ace cars for years, last month I switched to Amber because of the app. They've arrived late two or three times, and today I have missed my train (and the one after) as a result of their incompetence. I kept phoning the operator as I could see the taxi wasn't moving, being told it was only a few minutes away. Eventually I was told it had "been in an accident". The replacement taxi was late and in no hurry.
5 ★I usually use Amber cars at least once a week. The cars turn up.on time and the drivers are courteous and drive well. It's handy to be able to pay with a card using your phone.
1 ★This app used to work fine for me, until the last time I needed a taxi. Bizarrely, all I get now is two seconds of the splash screen and that's it, finished! A request for help emailed to Veezu has been ignored. What's gone wrong? Version 7.4.0 & Android 9
4 ★Service is good, and you can pre-book the night before. Easy to ad debit/ credit card with the option to alternatively pay the driver with cash. Driverschave all been professional/ non-creepy (so far). Great local busness Uber alternative. The only issue is not knowing if your booking has been confirmed. Luckily a driver has always come - and been up to 15 min late. It's frustrating when one needs to be on time.
1 ★Every time I use this app it will tell you you can get a taxi from your destination in 0-1 minutes and 20+ minutes later it won't even be dispatched yet. The tracking function also does not work. Amber has really gone downhill- prices have gone up and the waiting times are getting ridiculous.
1 ★There is something going on with this app. It worked fine for me until 2 weeks ago. Since then, whenever I try to place the order, it says "please try again or call us if the problem persists". I called them but no one was able to help. And yes I reinstalled the app several times .
5 ★I've been an Amber Cars customer for several years now and have never had any problems, except from poor customer service (attitude mainly & not making an effort to engage in conversation, even when propmted) but that's only ever been a couple of the drivers. The Amber Cars app is absolutely brilliant & it even lets you track your car & driver. It's a quicker and more efficient way of booking and you don't wait nowhere near as long as what you do when you book your taxi by phone
1 ★Not a reliable company. if you need to catch a train or be anywhere for a specific time you can be sure they'll let you down. Booked 12 hours in advance and still couldn't get a car to me on time. had to rebook with another company after they were 15 mins late, and this was with no traffic at 0630.
4 ★I was tentative to use due to the poor reviews but on recommendation I gave it a try. It's not the most intuitive interface, the tracking isn't always 100% and not getting pickup confirmation until a few minutes before is a little nervy when you're due to catch a train but I've not had any issues so far.

5 ★Absolutely brilliant. Been using it for two months now, never been let down yet. I pay cash so can't comment on account payments. Real time driver info, used all over Leeds and never waited more than 5 mins. I've not used another taxi rank since downloading this. Top app.
