1 ★Frigging abysmal. If you're booking for a 60-year-old and accept the default of "1 adult," that's mistake, as you find out when you enter his coachcard details and they are rejected. It turns out you were giving details for a youth, not senior, card. Go back, delete "1 adult," insert "1 senior" and re-enter card details. But don't put the card away. You have to enter its number sgain at payment stage, along with expiry date. If the card is in your name, same hassle. This app remembers nothing.
5 ★A great app for people who don't mind traveling slightly faster than a snail. I call it relaxing. Others will call it all sorts of negative things. But coach travel is generally slow and tedious but when you have a car that needs fixing and there's no other cost effective option, and if you're not in a rush for a business meeting it can very very enjoyable. So accept coach travel for what it is; a comfortable and relaxed way to travel.
1 ★What a total waste of my time downloading this app. According to the app my coach did not exist .. so I had no way of checking why my coach hadn't turned up at 2 in the morning to get me to Heathrow. Live tracker couldn't find the page and directed me to the home page which was totally useless too btw!!
2 ★The name of the app in the Play store is "National Express Coach". But when the app is installed the name of the app is just "Coach". When searching "national express" on your phone to locate app, or browsing alphabetically through all apps starting with N. You come up dry and end up locating the app by going back to the Play store to find it. Now I know, it's fine. But it's still ridiculously thick.
1 ★App not working and email address above (e commerce at national express) also not working. All I get is a blue screen with no ability to press anything. Uninstall and reinstall dod nothing. I'm in the latest android update also. Oh dear - just reading reviews below (mostly one star) and not good reading if you're the app developer / in charge of e-commerce at National Express. Start looking for a new Job
1 ★Use to work perfectly and now it looks like it's just redirecting you to the website version. Now in order for me to book a ticket, I have to enter my coachcard 2 times, my address, my phone, my email...Basically I am better off just going to the website myself instead of using this app.
3 ★Didn't see the summary option when booking a ticket and thought that l would have the option to review my booking prior to making payment. It cost me £5.00 extra as a consequence. When l booked again, l clicked on the summary button to check my travel arrangements. This app would be improved if the travel details were automatically brought up prior to payment, giving the option to change or confirm travel dates, times and destinations.
1 ★This is a worthless app. Bugs don't get fixed. Complaints don't get acknowledged. Emails go unanswered. Journey prices wildly vary depending on whether you are 1 or 2 travelling. One pays for a Coach Card & then not able to use it as you can't enter more than one card. Finally you are invited to register at payment tine BUT having done so once you would think that there would then be a login facility at the beginning of the app for later bookings. NO
1 ★Not great and judging by the empty responses, they don't much care what customers think. Why is the app called "coach". I searched for national express when I installed it, just plain daft. After my flight was cancelled, I had to amend my booking from abroad. All I got was the circle of death, couldn't find my booking to make the changes. When it finally let me in, it was too late to do anything. Get a decent technical team.
1 ★It only gets one star because I can't give it zero stars. Had to unwillingly give it a star so that I could inform whoever it is that created this app that this may possible be the worst app I've ever had the displeasure of using. Slow, unresponsive, inaccurate, vague... a total waste of time.
1 ★Its a very bad app. It looks like the webpage is embedded in the app. The app is just the same like the webpage. Both are slow and not usable. The app cache wrong data. Sometimes pages/windows of the search results closes automatically and goes to the start page. This app driving me crazy. Its sad that a company like national expresses released such an app and webpage.
1 ★imagine being a multi million pound company and both your website and app don't work. have currently spent an hour trying to book tickets. website just does nothing when you search for a journey, after half an hour of the app crashing I finally managed to get to the payment stage and it just goes back to the home page without me wanting to, and deletes all my progress like it never happened. still haven't booked my tickets. Absolute abortion of an app.
