2 ★Nothing much to say regarding prices, same as uber, good value & good drivers. Having issue with the app itself. Perhaps adding a " schedule option" will be good to be able to pre- order your ride in advance. "Drop-off " also showing a drop-off is always a nice touch when ordering. Location is not always accurate thoo, an exemple, was showing the driver will arrive in 9min, while he was waiting for me for the past couple of min. Nice app in general, hope it gets better thoo:)
1 ★AVOID. The whole app is a con which will charge randomly to your account with no customer support. A platform which has failed on two major issues: 1. Kapten has clearly taken the cheap route for designing and writing algorithms for it's software. 2. Failed to train/ carry out sufficient checks on it's drivers. Where there is a massive lack of professionalism and a sexism barrier. There is a need for Kapten to develop their service significantly. AVOID
2 ★Wow - this is a terribly built app... Yes it is cheap in its newly launched markets (i.e. I'm using this in Lisbon where there is a 50% discount for a month), but the GPS is wildly inaccurate with no pin setting function as in Uber, no ability to select type of car (i.e. Uber Black Vs Exec) and the wait times forecast have zero accuracy (probably down to the fact that the GPS is incredibly slow and inaccurate causing severe lagging). Enjoy the cheap rides on a VC's dollar and then go back to Uber.
2 ★EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING! I am sad to say that after initially being very enthusiastic about your new app, I think I will not be using it again. - Every time I open the app it shows 3-4 cars in my area, with an estimated wait time of 3-4 minutes, however, once I book it never finds a ride around, then books me with a driver who is 10 minutes away at least. Clearly misleading customers so they book the rides, as we as users will not cancel as it might incur fees or lower our ratings. -Drivers have a tendency to call or text the user before picking them up and ask them for their destination. Then they simply cancel when they don't feel like driving to the destination. This has happened 3-4 times already. - A driver cancelled the ride while he already got to the pickup point. The app stated it was because of either luggage, pet or a baby seat (which I had none), again, I can only assume the driver got close enough to the pick-up location, saw where I was heading, and decided to cancel. - Drivers accept rides before finishing their current ride, increasing wait times for the next riders by 5-6 minutes at a time.
3 ★I have given 3 stars because in my opinion the pros outweigh the cons. Let's start with the pros. This app definitely has the cheapest fares. They also have a great loyalty scheme; the more you use the app, the more discounts they offer. The cons: the gps system is rubbish. The pick up points are inaccurate - need to introduce pin drop for pickup. Not enough drivers. Pick up time is too long - some come from too far. Some drivers start journey before arriving - needs to be monitored closer.
3 ★this app started well in London, ... but serious improvements need to be made to the back end engine: (1)do not let drivers start the waiting time until they reach pick up point ; (2) fix the poor performance of the app's estimated time to car arrival at pick up - it is now systematically and substantially underestimated ; (3) find a way for the app to let passenger change the destination during the journey (with related change in fare of course)
3 ★Good app, for the first two rides, i quite enjoy it but on the third one i started to have problems with it, i put the pick up pin exactly in front of my building, but after i press confirm it jumped 3 streets away, after 2 min when i looked at the map to see were the driver is, i realised the pick up point is wrong, i called the driver and when he answered it was there for literally a few seconds, it got back to were i was in maximum 30 seconds. The problem is that i was charged extra for it.
1 ★Started off great but then went rapidly downhill. Trips mysteriously cancelled - especially during surge price. App suggesting cars are close and then when book they are well over 10 mins away. Drivers going in wrong direction and arriving well over the estimated pick-up time. Many don't seem to know any routes. Lastly, no reply to emails send to customer services (there is no in-app way of contacting).
3 ★I see that other users had similar issues, regarding pick up times not being realistic and drivers cancelling, so this must be a trend! In addition to that, I have noticed (probably in the last month) that SURGE is always adding £££ to my trip price (Central London) even during non-peak times. This makes trips more expensive than your main competitor, with obvious consequences. After having enjoyed your service for a few weeks, I will go back to more reliable providers.
1 ★Terrible app. My first experience was a scheduled ride where i had edited the pickup time and for some reason it didnt save. I was then charged 20 euro to cancel. The ride after that was fine. Fast forward to later on in the same day snd it says there is somethijg wrong with my payment. Added multiple cards, same error. My gf downloaded the app and added her cards but got the same error. So i literally am unable to pay them for their service. Dont waste your time, try another ride share app.
3 ★So far not bad. Low prices compared to others. But would be better if you can add 7 seater or family car option to the app instead of "standard" cars showing on the app. Sometimes one needs a bigger car but there's no option until it arrives then the confusion starts. Cancal and book another hoping to get a bigger car or try a different app. Please fix this will always be happy to. Give 5 stars 🌟 🌟 Thanks
5 ★Had a hard time adding my credit card info at first, so I restarted my phone and it worked great. Very friendly drivers with clean vehicles. We did have an issue where a driver said he was there, but we never saw him or his vehicle. We tried to contact the driver without luck and were charged for a canceled ride. Contacted customer service right away with a screenshot of the texts and they refunded the charges without a lot of hassle. This app was great for our time in Paris with a family of 5!!
