Description

The refreshingly simple, and remarkably effective, project management platform.

Managing people and projects under pressure is tough enough. Unfortunately, lots of software makes it worse by over-complicating things. Basecamp’s different.

What makes Basecamp special?

It’s dialed in. For nearly two decades, we’ve continually refined a unique set of tools and methods to fundamentally reduce complexity, and make project management more of a joy and less of a chore. Perfected and pressure-tested by hundreds of thousands of teams on millions of projects, Basecamp’s the gold standard for a simpler, superior version of project management.

Basecamp works because it’s the easiest place for everyone in every role to put the stuff, work on the stuff, discuss the stuff, decide on the stuff, and deliver the stuff that makes up every project. Not on separate platforms scattered in various places, but all intuitively organized in one centralized place where everyone can work together.

Basecamp’s intentionally simple by design. It’s why teams that sometimes leave in search of “more power” end up slamming into the consequences of over-powered software: Complexity. Complexity doesn’t work. Basecamp does. It’s why those that leave end up coming back and sticking with us the second time around. You never know what you had until it’s gone.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Easy to use and very helpful. The mode between screens is seamless. Great job....Thank You!
1 ★The app just doesn't work. Anytime I try to load it the projects will not load. I have tried multiple times to reload, uninstall and reinstall, same problem and it does not matter if I am on or off wifi. Same problem. The app is useless which is unfortunate. Hopefully it is a bug that can be fixed. My phone is a Samsung S8.
4 ★Great app! However, would be best if you can add a Status in each to-dos, e.g: Pending, In Progress, On Hold, Completed. Not only the tick-box that says the project/task is done and maybe you could also add a nested list for every orderlist (I'm not sure if this makes sense) but what I mean here is like for example; Main Folder >New Folder >New Folder...but in list type I just do the folder as example for what I want to see in the basecamp app. Anyway,I hope to see these in your next updates :)
5 ★Not sure of a new spiffy logo helps with user experience. However so far the app has been great in improving the productivity of me and company I work with. Don't put tasks and reminders into your head, delegate them to Basecamp. The project based message boards is a breath of fresh air from the usual chat-like team productivity tool.
5 ★Basecamp keep continue to change the way of working. This application is a reflection of their approach. Everything Smith, clean and easy to use. Thank you guys. By the way, only negative think about the app, it doesn't work offline. After being addicted to this application not using it in the underground makes me sad.
4 ★I have to work with this app because of my contractors but this is the buggiest app ever. The app shows no network connections where other apps get it fine and almost always when I open any screen I just see grey bars, I have to back up multiple times to get it to work. And it's not a device thing as I have used in 3 different ones. Edit: I was using chrome canary UIvwebview client, once changing back to chrome the issue was resolved. Did not know this was a hybrid app.
4 ★We are using Basecamp 3 for our group of Lay/Care Pastors, and Pastors in our Church. In the beginning it's a learning curve. I had to adjust the notifications. I don't want email notifications and App notifications. Finding the notification settings could be easier. I chose to only receive notifications in my phones home screen whenever I "don't have the App open."
2 ★Seriously buggy. I go to write a post and regularly lose blocks of text, parts of sentences, or random words and cannot go back and edit previous paragraphs without breaking the entire post. Private messages are annoying to access at best. Great platform with a terrible app.
4 ★great app! does all the things i need it to. however i think it'd be good to have a plan in-between personal and business as personal is a bit to restrictive for me, but business has a bunch of features that i know i'll never use (i'm usually working solo) and is prohibitively expensive.
2 ★Unable to sort items on to-do lists by dragging. No option to sort items in a to-do list by creation date, due date, alphabetically. Would like to move to basecamp from Microsoft to-do, but don't think I'll be able to until this is addressed.
4 ★Has been great for keeping track of our equipment and streamlining the booking of equipment, trucks, labor and specialty tools. I can easily track down what I need within the company by simply putting through a message using this app rather than texting individuals that can lead to a goose chase
5 ★(1) If someone post a pdf file, I can tap to see a larger preview. If I need more details, I can download. I find myself doing the download multiple times when I need the extra details later. If I already downloaded the pdf; is there a way to go to it, maybe by opening the downloads folder? Sometimes, I don't want to download too many times. I understand that I must download. (2) The question is if the Basecamp app has or should have a way of letting me re-use the downloaded file if I later need to see the file again. For now, all I can do is to download another copy. How would it be to include a link to the download folder in the app to see the already downloaded file? (3) As of now, I have no clue of where to find the downloaded file. I certainly want to reuse the downloaded file, but where do I find it? (4) Thanks for the instructions. I found the downloaded files now, in /sdcard/Download/Basecamp 3/, and I missed the Basecamp folder when I earlier looked in the Download folder. Now the remaining question is if the app could have a link to that folder, similar to what the Chrome app has. Anyway, I now know where to find the files. :-)
