What's new in version 8.3.2
We've updated the app with improvements, bug fixes, and a little love. Thank you for using Asana!
How to install Asana: Work in one place APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Asana: Work in one place APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.asana.app-v8.3.2-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Like the web service okay. Mobile app is unusable. It only show the first 60 characters of a task. Sounds like enough, but my job assigns these repeat tasks with the project identifyer at the end... making the mobile app useless for me. Also i would not have given a bad review if there had been a way to give feedback within the app. I just wanted the developers to know the product is not meeting my needs and i suspect others as well.
2 ★This app really is quite useful but there's a couple of key aspects that need improving. We can no longer reorder tasks as we see them listings could we have been able to in the past but no more. In the past we could organize tasks according to what had been completed and it would take us to the tasks immediately at the top of the page that has been completed yesterday. now we have to scroll through a year-and-a-half of events. also sub tasks to a main task will not pop up on a given date.
4 ★Asana is good, the app is also good I'm getting used to it still, but still good. My complaint at this point would be for the widget on Android. It shows what has been recently assigned. There is no way to change all your tasks in the widget by due today or due date, like the calendar in the app. It'd be nice to have it visible as a constant reminder of to dos rather than opening the app or logging in a a computer. Thank you.
2 ★Works okay, but inviting users to teams & projects is extremely buggy and inconsistent with the Asana website. Also, I cannot find common options, such as duplicating a task, on the Android app. Missing important, basic features makes the Android app pretty unusable, honestly. EDIT 2022-07-26: Downgrading to 2 stars. Projects show up under "Recent" but not "All" projects. This is ridiculous.
1 ★This app is a very simple, easy to use project management app. This is not ideal for companies that juggle multiple projects, or large teams. You get about 90% of the features in the free version, so it makes no sense to upgrade to the paid version just for a couple of more features that are not that important. They have practically NO customer service. Their support works on a ticket system and it takes them for ever to reply, when they do reply they are not helpful at solving the issues. If your going to pay for a project management software, you might as well pay for one that offers better support.
5 ★The browser application and the mobile application work side-by-side together to make my work possible at any location. I like the third party cloud file linking (Onebox, GDrive, Dropbox, etc), so that my colleagues and I can keep files linked for access in one single area. One extra step for the development team would be to include the 'move task to other subtask' option available in the mobile application.
5 ★Amazing, free app! Love the functionality and aesthetic! Was mentioned by Edmond Lau in the effective engineer and am glad I took a chance on it! This is hands out the best task managing app I have ever used. Only gripes are that sort by date gets unchecked frequently which gets annoying and that there is no dark mode yet. Other than that, great job team!
1 ★I use Asana on my laptop all the time and it works great. Tried to use on my Pixel 6 and as soon as I log in it crashes. If I try to reopen it, it immediately crashes. I tried restarting my phone, no luck. I uninstalled and reinstalled Asana - initially it loaded correctly but as soon as I logged in (using Google account) once again it crashed and repeatedly crashes each time. What a pain, hope they fix this asap.
2 ★The Developers for some reason have taken away the ability to organize each task as you see it listed. They say you can do it on desktop but that is not consistently. if I organize tasks according to the due date and what have been completed it populates jobs that happened over a year ago and I have to scroll through all of what was done yesterday. they're making the app more difficult to work with. subtasks don't work either
2 ★They removed the 'Mark for' functionality and replaced it with some klugey rule thing. I'm finding the app much less useful now. The replacement function requires us to spend hours relearning, so I might as well check out other task software. Advice: solicit user feedback before removing functionality. I'm guessing they lost a lot of users with the 'update'.
1 ★Asana has worked great, but I now have two critical issues with it. First, the android app won't connect to the internet even though I have internet connection both in mobile data and over wifi. I've tried reinstalling and force stopping, but it's been doing this for several days now. Now I can't login after reinstalling with "No network" so the app is useless. Second, the mobile app no longer allows you to reorder columns in board view, even though the web and windows app version will do this.
2 ★The mobile app was clunky and slow to load on my Galaxy S9, often times giving me push notifications 30-60 minutes after I had already seen the update on the desktop site (I hate the desktop site, too). Now, in the last two weeks, the mobile app won't even open on my phone. It just says Asana on a white screen and stays there forever. It crashes my phone if I don't disable it. Useless app.
