この方位磁石は、「どの方角に何色の物や、何を配置することによって開運につながるかを簡単に分かるように」をコンセプトに作られています。風水盤とは、土地や建物の吉凶などを知るためにつくられた古代中国の方位磁石が始まりといわれており、現在の形になるまで、さまざまな変遷を経ています。
