The HP Print Service Plugin is the only print driver that you'll need to easily print documents, emails and pictures from print-supported applications to a variety of HP Printers, including HP OfficeJet, HP LaserJet, HP DesignJet, HP Photosmart, HP DeskJet and HP Envy.You can discover and print to HP printers that are:
• Connected to the same network as your mobile device
• Broadcasting a Wi-Fi Direct network
• Connected to the mobile device via a USB On-the-Go cable
Just select Print or Share to PSP when you need to print. Just tap the menu button to reveal the print option. Location of menu button may vary depending on your model of Android™ device.

5 ★Easy to use app, allowing you to print remotely when away from the printer. I've found this very useful especially for receipts or warranty information. All printed for when I get home. I also find "Instant Ink" very useful and cost effective, especially if your not a frequent user. This is my third Printer 🖨 now and TBH I will be definitely sticking with HP.
5 ★Works well most of the time, but sometimes can't find the printer remotely without switching it off and on. As of today 28.5.21 still starts with printer unavailable, clears quickly from the phone, but not from the new kindle fire, which still takes several attempts to connect and sometimes demands a password I don't have. Plus the printer no longer scans to email!
2 ★I have had a ton of issues with this app recently. When I installed a new printer, the app went berserk. I have to sign in each time I use it. I no longer have easy access to my print history. I just pray I don't go over. The virtual agent is no help. It was great to use before, but now, not so much.
4 ★Pretty good. I can fax documents directly from my Galaxy Note 9! Update : The app works sometimes. Most of the the time I get a message that some of the features aren't available. This happens when I want the scan documents or fax documents in the document feeder. Also, the printer isn't recognized by the app. Ver temperamental.
2 ★I'm not sure why I need to have the HP Smart App and this plug-in to print from the Smart App. Also, there seems to often be a disconnect between the apps and my printer. Printer is online and ready, app says it's ready to print, but nothing happens. It's very frustrating.
1 ★This printer was a waste of $300. It literally would be less stressful to just drive to office depot whenever I need to print something. It disconnects between uses even though it shows it is connected. Then the mobile app kept telling me my wifi password was incorrect when it was not. I had to download a desktop app in order to get my printer to work. I hate this entire setup.
3 ★I love the convenience of this app, but I hate that it will not wake up the printer. I have to physically go to the printer and touch the screen. Then it works great, but really defeats the purpose of having it hooked to wifi. Fix that and I'll give it 5 stars.
1 ★80% of the time it will not detect my printer despite being connected to a wireless mesh network, often the printer itself needs to be rebooted as well as the app just to print... Not really the point of wireless printing. Has very few options for changing layout etc. Just not impressed, wouldn't buy a HP printer again. We have the envy 6000 series which is one of the more recent ones too 🤷♂️
2 ★Very hit or miss and when it's a miss, you are dealing with issues for far too long. It's insane that our printer did not come with a manual and instead you need to print it off as you go while installing or troubleshooting. I have been led in the wrong direction too many times without knowing due to this. Perhaps this works for some, but even for tech savvy people it's a pain.
2 ★Why everytime I hit print, the screen says, "printer is not available"? Then if I keep touching the printer icon, eventually it will start to print! It's one year later and you've done nothing to improve it! I think your app sucks! No people skills also! My next printer won't be an HP! That's for sure!!!!
5 ★So simple to print documents you push to your Android Google cloud. When I can't finish an interesting article and want the flexibility of a print, this app makes it so easy to send articles to my HP printer 🖨️. I didn't notice the down arrow at first, which allows me to print double sided. I like the quality of my 8086 printer and this app makes it even more useful.
2 ★Id say 3 out of 10 prints actually work, or go through. It used to be decent. I actually had 5 stars on this app, but I'm editing it now bc of the issues I've been having for quite some time now. So until the bugs or whatever it is preventing this app from working are fixed I'm sticking it at 2 stars, which is generous.
