1 ★The new format is beyond terrible. Everything David Moore said is 100% accurate. Bring back the old so in its entirety except cache the coupons so it doesn't need to check with the server every time I turn the phone on. Edit: adding the fact that the boilerplate response is both infuriating and clearly indicates they either didn't read the issues or understand them. We don't need help using the app, we want a well designed so.
4 ★I love Vons & the Von's app. However I gave it 3 stars because some things are difficult to find /use. No clear instructions. I would like the list to have the small boxes, where I'm able to just check off the items I need. Also, more clear instructions about the the rewards that are free. I really hope they fix those things in the app. Happy Holidays!
1 ★I installed the app to be able to redeem the Monopoly game. But even after scanning the coupons I don't see anything in the app showing the coupons. Additionally, we have won at least two free bottles of water while scanning codes and playing the game yet there is nowhere in this app to tell me what type of water or that we have even won anything. So the entire Monopoly game is a rip off. I think this failure to make it possible to redeem these things leaves Vons open to legal issues.
1 ★New format is horrible! Difficult to navigate and can't find anything easily. Not user friendly at all. I do not have time to do a search for the deals/items I am in need of. This setup is so that now I have to go through the paper ad circle what I want then do a search to add it on the ap. Even the desk top version changed and is also not user friendly. This new format is not efficient at all. I'm going to have to use my rewards this trip and shop elsewhere.
2 ★Update The app has diminished since change. It's awkward to navigate. I usually pick up, but that should be a default choice for me, not always choose. Easy to use to chose your savings online using your phone, pad, or computer. Easy to redeem savings at the store by entering your phone number at the checkout. You don't have to remember to carry coupons. Savings add up throughout the year. You also get gas points of to use at various stations, or points can also be used to get free product.
1 ★This new updated UI SUCKS!! I've been shopping at Vons more than usual over the years for the deals on the app but I won't be inclined to do that anymore due to this unfriendly user interface. Before, it was simple, quick, and easy to navigate. Now it's a mess. It consumes and waste too much of my valuable time trying to navigate in a reasonable amount of time.
1 ★Who ever is responsible for this update should be fired. It went from very useful though a little flawed, to pretty much worthless. I used a separate shopping app with it but it WAS good at making a list of what's on sale and tracking/adding your coupons and could sort by aisle or department. It does none of that now. Zero stars. 4-28-21 Update: I guess you folks just can't take a hint. The new app is a disaster at best. Rather than listen to all the recent reviews asking for the old app back or describing what is wrong with this one, like it taking 10 swipes and dozen screen taps to find anything, you screw it up even more. I realize you're not going to do the right thing and trash this version you probably have a lot of money invested in, but to ignore the basic rule of app development and just keep adding even more layers of taps and swipes to find your deals and coupons is IMHO, pretty much a middle finger to your customers. So be it, and so long Vons.
1 ★"Offers are currently unavailable. Please check again later." The app won't load any of the tabs. I was in store last week and tried to add a coupon (as the signage by the item instructed), but could not, even though I've done it in the past. Since nothing loads, the app is useless. I'm not sure how long it's been broken, but it's been at least a week. Even the push notifications to save a coupon, which still come through, only lead to a blank tab.
3 ★There's a problem with on some items when you press the add button it says coupon no longer available when it clearly states experation on coupon 10-30 days out. If it's not available, why not remove the coupon?? I don't know alot about apps. And sometimes this program is extremely frustrating with how long it takes to go through it. Between this app., shopping and finding all the errors on my receipt, it feels like a part time job.
1 ★Since the update, the app has been horrible to try and navigate through. Today as I went to start clipping coupons and looking up deals for my weekly shopping, the app now immediately closes down once the home screen is shown and I can't do anything. Please fix this situation. It has been a frustration for the last several months. The old version was much more user friendly, made sense to navigate through and always worked.
1 ★I want the old app back. It wasnt perfect but so much better than this one. I can no longer see "my list" that I created from the just4u items. Seems like this app is designed only for picking up or delivery. Maybe I'm missing something here. I can find items I want on the website version but instead of creating a list, it adds them to a shopping cart. Sigh......
1 ★Wow. I've started using the new version of the Vons app, and the new user experience is terrible. I just want to see the weekly deals without struggling through a frustrating "curated shopping experience". The previous UI was clunky but usable, but the new UI seems designed to hinder the user. I assume that somehow this app helps direct the user in a way that's somehow more profitable for Vons, but it's pretty much unusable and not worth installing.
