A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Everytime your phone does a software system update you must Uninstaller PumpSpy and reinstall it. I have Android and same with different model phones Not that big of a deal but something you shouldn't have to do.
1 ★Same problems others have reported. Works great for about a month, and then app crashes. App started reporting false pump cycles. (Sump running in January is not likely in my location). So this system is now unusable without a working app. Too bad, really liked the concept, and my sump will get very busy come Spring.
2 ★Great...when it actually works. I've had to uninstall and reinstall this app too many times to count. It always crashes and nothing fixes it except reinstalling. I've sent feedback multiple times over the last year and nothing seems to change. Disappointing
3 ★I've had my PumpSpy system a bit over a month. The customer service team was EXCELLENT when I bought mine - I happened to order more than I needed and PumpSpy Customer Service reached out to me to tell me how to order the same configuration for a few hundred dollars LESS. That's AMAZING customer service. This App, though...It definitely needs work. The UI is not intuitive for a mobile phone - my biggest gripe being that the native back function of the phone, when used, causes the app to close rather than go back to the previous screen. You have to use the "Back" link/button in the app itself. I'm constantly closing the app unintentionally as a result. My second gripe is that the PumpSpy is tied to a single account and there does not appear to be any easy way to add a separate user to the application (e.g. my spouse). This means that my spouse is not able to also monitor the PumpSpy from her phone. Finally, after about a month of operation, I've now also experienced the "crash at splash screen" problem others have noted. Fixed it by clearing cache and data and logging back in. This should NOT be necessary. Since the App is the primary means by which the home owner is able to monitor service, it makes it REALLY hard for me to recommend this product to other people I know without a lot of caveats and cautions. In case it is helpful to others: Samsung Galaxy S8 / Android v9 (Pie)
1 ★After a month, I couldn't get into the app... It keeps crashing! Contacted customer service and followed recommended advice with no change... What a waste! I have no idea if any pumping has occurred ever since installation. Can we make it so you can check from a website at least??
1 ★12/8/20 - Now all of a sudden the app will NOT open. You click on the icon, the splash screen shows for a second then it closes. It's TOTALLY useless NOW. It's a shame I spent thousands of dollars for the pump hardware & software and can't use it.
5 ★Recent update allowing for manual addition of devices took this from useless to good (maybe great)! Small issue with pump cycle times. App displays correct time, but daylight savings not accurately accounted for (in pump cycle time).
3 ★Finished setup fairly easily. Layout's ok but can't customize location image in app. Android Back button always exits app instead of taking me to previous page in app. Interface is a bit jenky but otherwise works.
1 ★Horrible application... It's not stable and never opens. Concept is great but the execution is poor.
1 ★App keeps crashing and you cannot use it. Even after talking to support. I would uninstall and reinstall and it would work for a short time. It is sad that it doesn't work
1 ★The alerts work great but the app crashes constantly on a variety of different android phones (S8, S9, S10) and it needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled monthly.
1 ★After about a month the app stops when attempting to load user data. Don't waste your money on this product.
