Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Seems like a nice system generally speaking. One massive problem for me though is that I am not getting ANY notifications to my phone which is kinda the whole point of this system over others. My security installer called the supplier who told him that it was a known problem their side and they were "working on it". No mention of an ETA on the software fix though :(
1 ★I purchased a fitted home alarm and have been using this free app to control it. Now I am told that I have to subscribe a monthly fee to use the app soon, with fines for late payment, reconnection and cancellation fees! I will not be blackmailed, I will be removing this alarm and replacing it. I will be uninstalling this app and adding Risco to the names of products that I will never buy again. I vote with my wallet and suggest that you do as well if you feel the same. Bye bye Risco and iRisco.
1 ★Your latest update is not exactly what I'd call an improvement. I no longer have both alarm systems. I have to log out and back in to the other system. I guess you tried to allow this through "sites", but I only get Connection Error 213. From the negative reviews regarding this release, I'm not convinced you did any testing on this either. The scrolling text in the lists is horrible. When I contacted a Risco dealer to install an alarm for a friend recently, I now know why they advised me to steer clear of Risco and go with Texecom.
1 ★Why the need for verification and extra logins and pin numbers? Is this process going to be repeated every time you do an update? Total nonsense. We'll it has happened again and this time it won't even connect. Timeout on login. How the hell have you managed to make it so bad? If it won't connect, I can't set my alarm. Get this app sorted!!!!
1 ★I just hate the new version, it takes ages to load when I start the app and it doesn't connect to the cam inside my shop. The older version was much faster and better. New update: today it signed out by itself and refuses to sign in again... I had to open the shop and rush in to disarm it manually before it goes on! Please hurry up with the update. new update 12-01-2019 now I'm logged out and can't login again even with password reset. but yes, the app is starting much faster.
1 ★This app is atrocious and has so many bugs! The developers of the app must be really bad seeing as they haven't been able to fix all the issues reported by other users. It's frustrating to see all these standard responses from Risco with no substance or desire to resolve. If I could rate the app 0 stars, I would! Please don't send me one of your standard responses....I just don't want to hear it!
2 ★very slow app since it has been updated. would rather persevere with the key fob as it takes so long for the app to process login details and then display current alarm status. We have the fastest NBN speed available and it still takes at least 2 mins to log in - very poor when you want to alarm your house before you drive off or when you're sitting in your driveway waiting to come into garage. Sometimes asks for pin number and other times it doesn't. Read the other reviews and seems like it's an issue across the board with a new update but bet I will get the same response "sorry for the inconvenience, please contact the support team" but no real acknowledgement there is an issue and bugs with your latest update and needs to be rolled back.
3 ★I have had the system for 3 years. A control panel, motion detector, motion detector with still camera, motion camera with detector microphone and speaker and lastly have a fire alarm set up to it as well. Really good features and amazing been able to control all, see all and be alerted by all through the app. But please risco can you update with features to test smoke alarms to see if they work and so you can teach kids the sounds, add a way to check battery levels and alerts when they die.
1 ★Horrible new version as most users agree for weeks. Had to move to "FreeControl". Cannot add new sites, not even my own (so much new, irrelevant, confusing and unknown data needed, and even then fails!), often I need to re-enter my user password, their support will not talk to me. No surprise when you see their support site and user manuals. I asked thieves to please wait till Risco maybe repair this catastrophe sometime. Pathetic!
1 ★A good experience with the app means a painful, sometimes 20+ seconds wait to remote set your alarm. A bad experience means a timeout and a loss of your authentication details meaning you're unsure if the alarm is set. In summary, an app for an expensive security system that you simply cannot trust and are forced to use. If you're considering a Risco powered security system, avoid this app renders it a risk. I suspect the slowness/timeout issues are server side as iOS has the same issues.
1 ★My panel has been offline for 24 hours. I have had the Agility 3 for nearly three years. I infrequently use to get disconnected/reconnected to the cloud (or panel) but this disturbance would last no more than 30mins. Not sure why it hasnt reconnected after 24 hours given nothing has changed. I have checked my GSM settings and they correct and the sim is reading a signal. Pretty useless if i cant communicate with my unit via the app.
1 ★My app had automatically updated and no longer works. I cannot log into our system to set out unset alarm! Completely pointless app now and extremely frustrating! I try to log in but it keeps telling me the system has timed out therefore I cannot get into our account. Why wasn't this update tested before being rolled out? A fix is needed immediately.
