모새골 공동체 교회는 “공동체성을 지향하는 교회”입니다. 주일에 모이는 예배공동체뿐만 아니라 복음적 삶의 실천을 위해 보다 밀착된 공동체성 회복을 추구하고 있습니다.주일에 모이는 예배공동체는 더불어 살아가는 생활공동체와 밀접한 관계를 유지하고 생활공동체는 각 지역 소공동체들과 긴밀하게 연합하여 일상 생활 속에서 하나님의 나라를 실현하도록 하는데 그 목표를 두고 있습니다.
주일에는 모든 공동체의 일원들이 예배 처소인 아세아 연합신학대학교 채플에서 함께 예배를 드리고 주중과 주말에는 누구나 생활공동체를 이루고 있는 모새골에 참여하도록 초청을 받습니다.
봉사자로, 훈련자로, 혹은 장 단기적인 펠로우로 참여하게 됩니다.
이러한 과정들을 통하여 전 교인은 그리스도가 머리가 되는 가족 공동체를 꿈꾸고 있습니다.
