1 ★Good app. THIRSTY AF with ratings request after paying for it. Please leave people alone after they pay you. Update: This app is now trash. CONSTANT "enable location" & "enable notification" message and zero ability to disable these messages. Makes me think they are selling data and location data no matter how you have "Do not track" settings. After multiple emails to developer, they answer with "we're working on it". For almost a year??? I'm done.
2 ★VERY frustrated! Daylight savings time change today and the widget will not change (using the 5x1 clock)! The actual phone time is of course correct and changed automatically overnight, but the widget still shows an hour later than it actually is and there doesn't seem to be any way to manually change that so it looks like time to uninstall and find a working app after all these years. Even tried restarting the phone to no avail.
1 ★Love this app. Wish I could get my factory weather app off my phone. This is far superior. Thank you for a great weather app. :) Edit: Not sure what's happening but the temperature is suddenly about 10 degrees off. :( Edit: Now it's 20 degrees off and I keep getting updates for a location I've deleted. I've written to you three times and you never respond. I guess I have to uninstall. :(
1 ★I didn't like the addition of the future cast in the radar, looks like guesswork, but I can deal with that. Lately the radar can be off by hours. Now when I go to the radar, it loads the heat advisory layer. That takes minutes to load if it loads at all. I tried to disable it but it keeps trying to load it anyway. It's easier and faster to check radar in multiple other places before it loads on 1Weather, if it loads at all. No longer useful.
3 ★Taking down my rating by a couple of stars. When the app works it's great. It's constantly updated. There are ads but the team has made them very quick. Sometimes the app gets buggy. The radar always seems to be the least reliable. Either it's behind or as of now just won't load. I've also noticed the forecast tab to be inaccurate at times. But when everything works it's a great app.
4 ★Thank you for fixing the pop-up bubble issue on radar. Now, please stop making "improvements" to the app because every time you do, a new and annoying problem presents itself. I would like to make a request... I've used 1Weather for years. I follow weather for several cities but I do not need or want to receive alerts for any except right where I live. The constant weather news and alerts are VERY annoying so I've turned them off. Now, however, I do not receive them for my own area.
5 ★I prefer it over any other weather app I have tried. I can save multiple cities that I travel to out of state so I don't have to always look up the weather I just save it for convenience & I like the different blocked areas (ie; humidity, wind gusts and direction, etc. ) that are right below the temperatures. A perk is you can watch videos of headlined weather in videos from all around the world... It is also very easy to navigate.
3 ★I love the accurate weather info but the incessant notifications are reminding me why I uninstalled this in the first place. I reinstalled to support OneLouder after the loss of BaconReader, but I'm on the verge of taking it out back like Old Yeller. I have them disabled in settings. It doesn't matter. I wake up to three different messages. I get another every three or so hours. Bro I just want severe weather alerts and that's literally it.
2 ★Showing an hour ahead 3 days after turning the clocks back. Looked in settings to see if I could manually address the issue but did not see anything. Rather annoying. Also for a while now if I click into the app to manually refresh current conditions, they will change in the app but if I back out to my home screen the widget will not update unless I click back into the app one or two more times...
1 ★Constantly getting annoyed with spam notifications under notification catogories that shouldn't have them. For example, they will send me spam messages under the "Rain Alerts" notification category. Rain alerts should ONLY BE RAIN ALERTS. Turning off all alerts entirely is not a solution when I want to still get the useful notifications. Going to a different app that's not constantly trying to drive traffic to their "articles" for ad impressions.
3 ★They added a feature that is super annoying. Everytime I use radar I have to unselect NWS alerts or it puts a big alerts box right over my location blocking the radar that I am using radar to look at. When I turn it off it pops back up every time I open it and I have to de-select it again. So annoying. May have to find another weather app. Follow up 11/10/23. Thank you for fixing!
1 ★I disabled this preinstalled app after it both gave me crazy inaccurate weather and then wouldn't allow me to leave the app by clicking the the back button. Unacceptable, I could easily reopen the app if needed but if I need to change apps quickly I am NOT ALLOWED????? For basic forecasts (no weather news though) get NOAA Weather Unofficial from Granite Apps. (Not sponsored, I have been using that app for almost a decade.) Less ads with them and the radar is accessible easily.
