SkylinkNet allows you to monitor your home with your smartphone. With the built-in alarm features, you can remotely arm, disarm, and monitor various activities with this app.Create a smarthome by adding home control modules to control lights, electrical appliances and other household devices.
The Internet Hub sends you push notification when sensor is activated, allowing you to monitor your home remotely. With the surveillance camera, you can see live action of the area you want to monitor.

1 ★Same problem as everyone else. Ever since Android 7.0 came around cannot initalize or connect to the hub. We are now switching to Android 8.1 and skylink has yet to update for 7.0. Horrible support and this whole product is absolutely useless without a functioning application. Same as buying a computer without an operating system. My whole system is now a very expensive paper weight. I shouldn't have cheaped out and bought iSmartAlarm!
2 ★Have to uninstall and reinstall about every two weeks. For some reason push notifications just stop working, and the only fix is a reinstall. This has been an issue for years and it never gets fixed. Otherwise it's an OK app, with minimal options that does what it's supposed to.
5 ★overall great, reliable system. I've been using it for about 2-3 years now. honestly it's been a great experience, works fine. there is definitely room for improvement but I'm very happy with it. lastly it is time for a some kind of an update, the app needs to be refreshed and the system itself needs a new updated version. but still the system works great. the app works fine. no problems at all. I don't have the camera so I cant speak for that.
1 ★Update: even with the developers recommendations, still having notification issues. App seems crude, you can't even do something as basic as rearrange sensor icons. Wish there was the ability to silence notifications on the app and the unit at set times, but it's all or nothing right now it seems. Notifications don't work on Android. No matter what I do, the most I can get is a few hours of working notifications before they stop altogether. Should have gone with a reputable brand!
4 ★This app has a few bugs currently, but with some effort I am able to get my dozens of sensors and switches configured as desired and working reliably. I really wish there was a landscape viewing mode for tablets. This application belongs on a tablet in landscape mode in many scenarios (especially if you have lots of devices). One annoying bug that has persisted through a few updates for me is: renaming a sensor causes chime = enabled. The application won't show you that though until you exit and re-enter the settings screen (where you changed the name of the sensor). It will start behaving that way though, so you have to remember that after renaming anything. Overall I really like the Skylink solution and have close to 50 of their devices around my home all working reliably. now This application needs a little more love before it gets my full support though. EDIT: Another BIG BUG (affecting the last reviewer that gave the 1 star): your hub password is truncated to the first 10 characters.
3 ★I got a new phone, the app no longer works. Was using Moto G2 with Android 6.0. No problems. Was 5 stars. I bought an ASUS phone running Android 8.0 and can't even initialise hub. App just stops. So I reinstalled app and initialised hub on my old MotoG2 which I carry exclusively to have access to my Skylink devices. Tech support suggested I 'add an existing hub' on my new phone.. and that worked. So I can now ditch my old phone again. Still resorting to old phone was a weird workaround.
1 ★The hardware is excellent, but the app itself is nearly useless. Others have detailed the problems so I won't. It'd be great to see some work go into the app, or at the very least they could open up API access to the hardware so the community could take over.
1 ★Loved it until i recently had to switch the device i used it on. Now i just get connection timed out cant arm the system, even standing ontop the hub
5 ★I love this system. Besides occasional misfire (may be a mouse tripping it up), it works fantastic as a monitor system and integrates with smart devices through ifttt better than other systems. I also use Ring alarm and Blink cameras. I like this system the best especially paired with a camera to validate alarm activations.
1 ★As of this moment..I think I may have wasted money. The app won't let me initialize the hub. keeps saying error, &closing, or it just boots me back to the set up page. Have emailed customer service. They said it was jotnthe app, ot was my phone. that I needed 1.5 GB.... well i have 37GB... I'm sure thats fine. is still crashing, or boots me back to the set up page....i may be returning this. update- had to get the clerk to set a t up over the phone, as it would not work. now, the time is wrong!?
3 ★I wish the screen would stay on while I am watching the camera fullscreen! It always goes off after 15 seconds unless I keep touching it. Then after it goes off, when I turn it back on, it has frozen and I have to restart it.
1 ★When will you update the app? We can t see if a light is on and we can t reorganize the icons on the main menu. In the notifications you don t see the location, just the name. We can t make lights flashing when in panic mode. I drop my rating to 1 star because they never give me a feedback on this since i did my rating 2 years ago...
